1. China Laundry Association successfully took a new round of election
The 2nd China Laundry Association General Assembly opened in the afternoon of August 28th in Shanghai. More than 170 members from Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin etc took part in the meeting. 112 directors, 68 executive directors and 32 presidents were elected according to the regulation of the assembly. Mrs. Wang Shuyuan was reappointed consecutively as Director of China Laundry Association.

By the consigned of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China, National Occupation Skill Standard of Leather Care Attendant which submitted and compiled by China Laundry Association was issue by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China on November 4th,2010.

3. Guidance of Speeding up the development of Laundry and Dyeing Industry by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China Issued
To further promote the healthy development of laundry and dyeing industry, the Ministry of Commerce in cooperation with China General Chamber of Commerce, introduces the “Guidance on further accelerating the development of laundry and dyeing industry by the Ministry of Commerce ". It specifies seven requirements on the purpose of accelerating the development of this industry: Strengthen the planning guidance to optimize the industry layout; cultivate independent brands to enhance the market competitiveness; carry out service innovation and improve service quality; use advanced technology and promote energy conservation and environmental protection; improve regulations and standards to promote normal development; increase policy support to promote enterprise Development; strengthen the basic work and lead the industry in terms of scientific development.  The guidance proposes that during the Twelfth Five-Year plan period, the average annual revenue growth of the industry should be increased by more than 18%, making the operating income in 2015 exceed 100 billion Yuan and percentage of employees with certificates reach to 30%.

2010 The 11th China International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibition, which is organized by China Laundry Association and Unifair Exhibition Service Co., Ltd., were successfully closed on August 28th, 2010 in Shanghai Mart Exhibition Hall. More than 8,308 professional buyers from all provinces of China as well as other countries and regions of Asia and Europe visited and purchased during the exhibition with the on-site sales volume reaches millions of RMB. The exhibiting space this year nearly covers 6000 m2 with more than 300 booths, attracting over 150 famous brands from more than 12 countries such as USA, Japan, Germany, France, Italy and Spain etc.
Accompanying activities included The First Laundry Professionals Competence, National Conference on Laundry Skills and Management, Overall Solution to Industrial Washing Machine by Little Swan, New Technology and Application of Water Clean Replacing, Create Your Laundromat Business by Alliance Laundry Systems have attracted active participation of professionals from laundry industry.

5. China Laundry Association Leather Care Office established
China Laundry Association Leather Care sub-committee was established on December 2nd, 2010. It was a sub committee of China Laundry Association which aims to organize, coordinate, guide and carry out regulation and standard of leather care as well as compile vocational material and teaching material, organize leather care technology communication seminar and competition in order to promote the healthy development of Leather Care Industry.

6. First Homemade Tunnel Washer was manufactured by Jiangsu Sea lion
China’s first homemade Tunnel Washer was born in Jiangsu Sea-Lion Machinery Group. Demonstration Conference was held in the headquarter of Sea-Lion on November 10. 8. Guangdong T&T service Asian Game
Guangdong T&T Laundry Distriet Co., Ltd was appointed as official laundering company in the 16th Asian Games. Their daily quantity of laundering was 120 thousand clothes. T&T have successfully done their job with zero complain. They got praise from athletes from many countries while several Medias follow up T&T.

9. Public Notice of investigation of The 2nd famous brands in laundry industry by China Laundry Association
48 famous brands was confirmed as The 2nd famous brands in laundry industry by 4 months’ online vote, questionnaire and comprehensive evaluation while 33 of them are laundry and dyeing service , 8 of them are laundry equipments and 7 of them are accessory.

10. Laundry experts first elected as Chinese Traditional Craftsman in Beijing.
Wu Jingmiao, Qi Datong and Jiang Xiling are elected as Chinese Traditional Craftsman in the activity of Beijing Commercial Service Chinese Traditional Craftsman by Organization Department of Beijing Committee, Ministry of Commerce People’s Republic of China, Beijing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Beijing Municipal Trade Union etc.
