The Shaanxi Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association was established on September 18, 2002. It is a non-governmental organization with independent legal person status approved by the Shaanxi Provincial Civil Affairs Department, independently bearing civil liability. It is directly governed by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce and is the only management department for the laundry and dyeing industry in Shaanxi Province. The association aims to revitalize the Shaanxi laundry and dyeing industry, abide by the constitution, laws, and regulations, observe social ethics and customs, assist government authorities in implementing national policies, serve enterprises and grassroots, with the purpose of "serving the industry and serving members," promote technological progress, improve management levels, enhance overall quality, and serve the socialist material and spiritual civilization.
The association has the following departments: Office, Complaints Department, Training Department, Membership Department, Xi'an Laundry and Dyeing Professional Vocational Skills Appraisal Station, Xi'an Dry Cleaning Industry Rectification Office, Xi'an Arbitration Committee Quality Dispute Arbitration Center Laundry and Dyeing Industry Arbitration Office, and other departments.
Since its establishment, the Shaanxi Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association has united a large number of member units, actively represented members' interests, strived to reflect members' wishes and demands, fully safeguarded members' legal rights and interests, and established and improved industry regulations and agreements. According to the association's charter, it undertakes various tasks and work entrusted and assigned by relevant government functional departments, actively plays the role of a bridge for the government and a home for members; provides laundry and dyeing information to member units, including domestic, international, and provincial and municipal industry information, market trends, experience sharing, and technical exchanges; offers business technical consultation to members; arbitrates service complaints and laundry and dyeing technical complaints in the industry; standardizes the laundry and dyeing market and advocates "green laundry and dyeing, environmentally friendly consumption." It protects the legal rights and interests of consumers and operators, manages laundry and dyeing enterprises, promotes laundry and dyeing enterprises through media to enhance their intangible assets; cooperates with relevant government functional departments to rectify and regulate the laundry and dyeing market; organizes technical personnel to provide services and equipment maintenance, upkeep, and upgrades for member units; supplies chemical materials, auxiliary materials, and equipment parts to laundry and dyeing enterprises; implements the market filing system for laundry and dyeing enterprises and registers newly established laundry and dyeing enterprises; organizes relevant units, enterprises, and experts to participate in experience exchanges and forums.
Abide by national laws and regulations, conduct business activities legally, and consciously safeguard the overall interests of the industry. Adhere to industry ethics, regulate market behavior, jointly maintain market order, share industry responsibilities, advocate honest operation, enhance awareness of quality service, and establish a good image of the industry and enterprises in the minds of consumers. Promote mutual trust and mutually beneficial consumer relationships between the entire industry and consumers, jointly create a fair, honest, harmonious, and orderly consumption environment. Leverage the overall advantages of the industry to drive healthy development of the entire industry through open, fair, and just market competition.
On the afternoon of January 28, 2013, the third executive council meeting of the Shaanxi Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association was grandly held at the Zhiyuan Hotel in Xi'an. More than 100 members gathered in Xi'an. The meeting was held under the leadership of the provincial government commerce authorities. The Laundry and Dyeing Committee sent a congratulatory letter for the meeting. Laundry and dyeing associations from some provinces and cities nationwide also sent congratulatory messages in various forms to congratulate the meeting! Leaders from the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, Civil Affairs Bureau, Technical Supervision Bureau, Environmental Protection Bureau, Price Bureau, Consumer Association, and other relevant functional departments also attended the meeting. Through the joint efforts of all members and representatives present, the meeting successfully completed all agenda items: hearing, reviewing, and approving the work report of the previous council, financial work report, association draft, admission of new members, etc. A new council was elected, with Wang Baohong serving as president and Yu Hua as secretary-general of the new leadership team.
Finally, Deputy Director Gao Dongshun of the Provincial Department of Commerce, entrusted by Deputy Inspector Wang She'an of the Department of Commerce, delivered an important speech on behalf of the Department of Commerce and warmly congratulated the convening of the executive council meeting of the Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association and the formation of the new leadership team. Deputy Director Meng Hongwei of the Shaanxi Provincial Administration for Industry and Commerce Consumer Protection Department also attended and extended congratulations and greetings.
We believe that the new leadership team of the Shaanxi Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association will lead the vast number of members with a solid work style to accomplish all tasks more perfectly and excellently, making new achievements for the development of the Shaanxi laundry and dyeing industry!
