Hydrogen peroxide, with the chemical formula H2O2, is commonly known as peroxide solution in its aqueous form. It appears as a colorless transparent liquid and is a strong oxidizer, suitable for wound disinfection as well as environmental and food sanitation.
Data shows that hydrogen peroxide is an effective disinfectant during the laundry process. We usually like to mix hydrogen peroxide with some other chemicals to use it as a disinfectant.
If you work in a hospital, you will come into contact with JCAHO, and people are very concerned about infectious diseases. Hydrogen peroxide can disinfect infectious diseases and can be used to disinfect medical gauze and other items. Regarding hydrogen peroxide bleaching, European hospitals have been using it for nearly 50 years to bleach various medical disinfectant supplies.
In the United States, hydrogen peroxide has also been used for bleaching hospital supplies for 25 years. The concentration, temperature, and duration of hydrogen peroxide bleaching can be measured. Other hydrogen peroxide bleaching and chlorine bleaching methods are also usable.
