Sanitary isolation laundry means separating the "clean area" from the "dirty area" with isolation walls, and avoiding secondary contamination through process control such as the flow direction of textiles. During washing, textiles enter the sanitary isolation washer from the dirty area side, and after washing, they are taken out from the clean area on the other side, then dried, ironed, sorted, and packaged, and finally sent out from the clean area exit. In addition, to limit the spread of pathogens as much as possible, isolation laundry also requires other measures, including reasonable design of laundry room ventilation and filtration devices, maintaining negative air pressure in the dirty area so that air flows from the clean area to the dirty area; separating laundry workers working in the clean area from those in the dirty area, and so on.
In fact, the hospital textile washing process requires strict control of every step throughout the entire process. These steps include the collection and classification of dirty textiles, storage and packaging, transportation, washing, transportation before drying and ironing, drying, ironing and folding, packaging, returning, and storage.
