China Daily, August 18 (Zhao Yanrong) According to the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, as of 19:00 on the 18th, the number of Chinese citizens who died in the Bangkok explosion in Thailand has risen to 6, including 4 mainland residents and 2 Hong Kong residents.
Additionally, 22 Chinese citizens are receiving inpatient treatment in hospitals, including 17 mainland residents, 2 Hong Kong residents, and 3 Taiwan residents. More than ten lightly injured individuals have been discharged after bandaging treatment in various hospitals. Under the embassy's continuous attention, all the injured have received timely medical care.
Currently, the families of the injured have gradually arrived in Thailand. The embassy has arranged volunteers at airports and hospitals to assist and provide accommodation and meal conveniences.
Previously, one Chinese citizen who went missing in this explosion is still unaccounted for.
