The Laundry and Dyeing Committee collaborated with CCTV's "So That's How It Is" program team to record the show "Getting Out of the Misconceptions of 'Dry Cleaning'", which aired on February 13, 2012, at 18:56 on CCTV-10 Science and Education Channel, lasting about 60 minutes. The program focused on common consumer misconceptions about garment dry cleaning, such as dry cleaning meaning cleaning while dry, dry cleaning having stronger stain removal than water washing, all clothes being suitable for dry cleaning, laundry shops being able to handle all stains, and down jackets only being dry cleaned. These were explained one by one through live experiments, video demonstrations, and expert explanations. This educational program helped more laundry consumers understand dry cleaning knowledge, which is important for eliminating laundry misunderstandings and increasing consumer trust.
