A large number of golden rice bowls are about to disappear, and the days of relying on certificates to make a living are coming to an end.
According to a report from the Chinese government website on the 24th, the State Council has canceled multiple administrative approvals and licenses, including the qualification license for sponsors.
Among them is the cancellation of the "most valuable certificate" — the sponsor qualification, as well as a large number of certificates symbolizing golden rice bowls, including the qualification recognition for actuaries in insurance companies and internal auditor positions.
Industry insiders point out that this means the era when investment bankers could earn high salaries simply by holding sponsor qualification certificates is over, and the investment banking "golden rice bowl" of sponsor qualification will be broken.
The following is the "Decision of the State Council on Canceling and Adjusting a Batch of Administrative Approval Items and Other Matters" announced on November 24:
People's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, all ministries and commissions of the State Council, and all directly affiliated institutions:
After research and demonstration, the State Council has decided to cancel and delegate 58 administrative approval items, cancel 67 professional qualification licenses and recognition items, cancel 19 evaluation and commendation items, and adjust or clarify 82 pre-approval items for business registration to post-approval. It is also recommended to cancel and delegate 32 administrative approval and professional qualification license recognition items established according to relevant laws, and change 7 pre-approval business registration items established according to relevant laws to post-approval. The State Council will submit proposals to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress to amend relevant legal provisions according to legal procedures.
