07 Annual Laundry and Dyeing Industry Survey Bulletin Released. According to the 2007 statistical data audited from the feedback of the annual laundry and dyeing industry basic situation survey, and after organizing evaluations by some industry insiders, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee announced the results of the industry basic situation and enterprise brand survey. The bulletin analyzed and summarized from three aspects: the overall situation of the national laundry and dyeing industry, laundry service enterprises, and laundry production enterprises, and publicly released the laundry and dyeing brand results. ★The 9th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibition was held in Shanghai.
The China Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Committee and Xinzhilian Exhibition Company successfully held the "9th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibition" at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center from 2008 year 9 month November 11-13 This exhibition is the only large-scale laundry and dyeing industry event in China this year, focusing on showcasing the latest and most advanced laundry equipment, chemical raw materials, and related services such as laundry shop franchising, laundry room design, and construction. Concurrently, the exhibition also held multiple activities including the "National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Technology Exchange Conference" and the "China-Foreign Laundry Industry Friendship Meeting."
This exhibition featured well-known brands from 12 countries and regions worldwide, 100 with many renowned brands making a brilliant appearance, concentrating on displaying the latest domestic and international laundry and dry-cleaning technologies, equipment, raw materials, as well as laundry shop chain franchising and rental laundry services.
The exhibition covered an area of nearly 5,000 square meters, with nearly 200 booths, exhibiting more than 100 sets of various laundry machinery. During the two and a half days of exhibition, it received visitors from 16 countries and regions abroad, and 27 provinces, cities, and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions domestically, 6027 visitors who came to visit and purchase, laying a solid foundation for next year's international exhibition.

★ Our committee will hold the first China International Laundry Festival next year.
To promote and enhance the overall image of China's laundry industry and to strengthen foreign exchange and cooperation, the Laundry Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce has decided to hold next year 9 month in Beijing the "First China International Laundry Festival" themed "Exchange and Cooperation, Win-Win Development."
The "Laundry Festival" will highlight " 2009 the International Laundry Industry Conference and the 4th China International Laundry Industry Summit Forum", the "10th China International Laundry Industry Exhibition" and the "6th National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition" as three main themed events. At the same time, the 50th Annual Meeting of the International Drycleaning Association will also be held concurrently. This series of meetings and events, mainly organized by the Laundry Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, has received strong support from relevant government departments and related industries. It marks the true integration of China's laundry industry with international peers and will undoubtedly become an unprecedented grand event in the history of China's laundry industry.

★ The Laundry Committee of China General Chamber of Commerce carries out 08 the annual national top ten laundry enterprises re-evaluation work.
As of 9 month, the number of enterprises with valid "National Top Ten Laundry" qualifications is 21 ; enterprises due for re-evaluation 26 ; re-evaluations completed 8 ; still 18 enterprises need to be re-evaluated; enterprises disqualified or not re-evaluated due to failure to meet the "Top Ten" standards or inability to fulfill "Top Ten" enterprise obligations 12 enterprises; enterprises whose applications were not approved 2 enterprises.
The re-evaluation work is still ongoing.
★ The preparatory work for the "National Laundry Service Standardization Technical Committee" continues.
Recently, our committee has held multiple consultations with leaders from the National Standardization Committee and relevant departments of the Ministry of Commerce regarding the establishment of the "National Laundry Service Standardization Technical Committee." The proposed secretariat of the "National Laundry Service Standardization Technical Committee" will be affiliated with our committee, under the leadership of the National Standardization Committee and the Ministry of Commerce, mainly responsible for the standardization construction work of the national laundry industry.
★ Laundry Committee 2008 Annual Director Work Meeting will be held 12 in late month in Shaoxing.
