Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, February 19 - The State Administration for Industry and Commerce has decided that, starting from March 1 this year, it will stop the annual inspection work for limited liability companies, joint stock companies, non-corporate enterprises, partnerships, sole proprietorships and their branches, foreign (regional) enterprises operating in China, and other business units that have obtained business licenses.
This was learned by reporters on the 19th from the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
The State Administration for Industry and Commerce requires industry and commerce departments at all levels to promptly prepare for the implementation of a series of new systems such as the enterprise annual report disclosure system; based on the actual local enterprise and economic development, further strengthen supervision, lawfully investigate and deal with various violations of enterprise registration management laws and regulations, and effectively fulfill supervisory responsibilities.
According to the recently introduced "Reform Plan for the Registered Capital Registration System" by the State Council, the enterprise annual inspection system is changed to the enterprise annual report disclosure system; the individual industrial and commercial household license inspection system is reformed, establishing an annual report system suitable for the characteristics of individual industrial and commercial households; and the implementation of an annual report system for farmers' specialized cooperatives is explored.
In December last year, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce issued a document suspending the license inspection work for individual households.
