The Fourth Member Representative Conference of Fujian Province's Laundry and Dyeing Industry Successfully Held

On December 18, the Fourth Member Representative Conference of the Fujian Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry was grandly held in Fuzhou. Leaders attending the meeting included Pan Wei, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation; Chen Wensheng, Researcher of the Service Industry Development Division of the Provincial Department of Commerce; Shangguan Busheng, Deputy Director of the Trade, Light Textile, Tobacco, and Pharmaceutical Union Work Committee; and Xiong Yubin, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Fujian Commercial (Group) Co., Ltd. 
The meeting reviewed and approved the work report of the third council, the financial report, the draft amendments to the articles of association, the draft amendments to the membership fee payment and management methods, and elected the new president, vice presidents, secretary-general, and supervisor. 
Chen Wensheng, Researcher of the Service Industry Development Division of the Provincial Department of Commerce, stated in his speech that in recent years, the laundry and dyeing industry has become increasingly prominent in the tertiary industry, showing characteristics such as rapid growth in scale and quantity, a relatively balanced industry structure, overall improvement in industry benefits, continuous modernization, and increasing industry contribution. As a life service industry, laundry and dyeing should shift towards refinement and high quality. Researcher Chen fully affirmed the work done by the third council of the Fujian Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association in cultivating highly skilled talents, strengthening industry self-discipline, advocating honest operation, building service brands, improving service quality, and guiding enterprises in energy saving, emission reduction, and environmental protection. He also hoped that the new council would remember its original mission to serve members, the industry, and the government, continue to play the role of the industry association, and promote the healthy and orderly development of Fujian's laundry and dyeing industry! 
Re-elected President Mr. Weng Guiming stated that he will lead the new council to stay true to the original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind, strengthen party building work, unite and lead the broad membership, uphold the association's purpose of serving members, the industry, and the government, reflect the industry's demands, solve problems for the government, actively play the role of the industry association as a bridge between the government and the industry, adhere to reform and innovation, work actively and vigorously, and jointly promote Fujian's laundry and dyeing industry to reach new heights. 
It is reported that the Fujian Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association currently has 318 members, coming from the dry cleaning, leather care, public textile washing, and medical textile washing industries across nine cities in the province.
