Top 10 of China's Top 100 Chain Stores in 2010 Announced

On March 28, the China Chain Store & Franchise Association released the "2010 China Top 100 Chain Stores Report." Suning Appliance Group, with sales of 156.2 billion yuan, surpassed Gome for the second time to top the China Top 100 Chain Stores list. In 2010, the sales scale of the Top 100 chains reached 1.66 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.2%.
Gome Electrical Appliances Group, Bailian Group Co., Ltd., Dashang Group Co., Ltd., and China Resources Vanguard Co., Ltd. ranked second to fifth with sales of 154.9 billion yuan, 103.7 billion yuan, 86.2 billion yuan, and 71.8 billion yuan respectively. The sales of the 100th ranked company were 2.2 billion yuan, an increase of 37% compared to the previous year.
