Tianjin Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association Holds Symposium to Celebrate the "Double Ninth" Festival for the Elderly

Industry veterans attended the symposium, and everyone gathered together to celebrate the "Chongyang" Festival.
Deputy Director of the China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Committee and President of the Tianjin Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, Comrade Chen Qijun, presided over the symposium. First, thanks were given to the senior comrades for their outstanding contributions to the industry's development, wishing the veterans a happy festival and good health! Secondly, the current development status of our city's laundry and dyeing industry was introduced to the veterans, and the recent work of the association was reported; then, it was hoped that the senior comrades would support and help the association complete the compilation of the "Development History of Tianjin's Laundry and Dyeing Industry," to continue contributing to the association; finally, on behalf of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation, the "National Laundry Industry Meritorious Person Honor" certificate and trophy awarded by the China Commercial Federation were presented to Comrade Wang Yachen, former manager of Chen Lin Laundry Company and model worker of Tianjin, who is 83 years old.
At the symposium, the senior comrades spoke freely and happily, recalling the development of our city's laundry and dyeing industry, and offered suggestions for the association's compilation of the "Development History of Tianjin's Laundry and Dyeing Industry." They focused on discussing the industry's development before liberation, during public-private joint operations, and before the Cultural Revolution. They also actively contacted more veterans in the city's laundry and dyeing industry, hoping they could support and help complete this work. The senior comrades also expressed recognition of the association's work and were very pleased with the gratifying achievements in the development of Tianjin's laundry and dyeing industry. They hope the association will continue its efforts to promote the healthy and orderly development of our city's laundry and dyeing industry.
Finally, Mr. Chen Qijun, Deputy Director of the China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Committee, took this opportunity to host a banquet for the attending veterans on behalf of the association.
On the occasion of the Chongyang Festival, we wish all the senior comrades in the city's laundry and dyeing industry a happy festival and good health!
