On September 11, the inaugural meeting of the Dalian Leather Care Professional Committee was held. More than 30 leather care shops within Dalian's jurisdiction participated in this meeting. The meeting was chaired by Wang Jidong, Secretary-General of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association, with Deputy Secretary-Generals Liu Shuang and Xiu Wei attending.
At this meeting, the organizational structure of the Leather Care Professional Committee and the main content of the committee's work were announced. The director and deputy directors for each region were elected to oversee the work of the leather care professional committees in their respective areas.

Main Work of the Leather Care Professional Committee
The Leather Care Professional Committee of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association is an office registered with the Dalian Civil Affairs Bureau, responsible for leather care work within the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association. The office is located at the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association.
The Leather Care Professional Committee focuses on the central work of the Dalian Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association and, based on the characteristics of the leather care profession, is mainly responsible for the following areas:
1. Advocating scientific and advanced industry development concepts, guiding enterprises to optimize business management models, and promoting the application of green, environmentally friendly, low-carbon, and innovative technologies in the industry.
2. Strengthening industry self-discipline, improving service quality, promoting internal industry coordination, maintaining industry reputation, and promoting healthy and orderly industry development.
3. Assisting in the formulation of leather care professional standards, regulations, and procedures to standardize industry order and technical operation processes.
4. Conducting qualification certification and grading evaluations for units (stores) engaged in leather product care work.
5. Playing a bridging role by integrating resources from government and industry authorities, industry enterprises, media, and others to convey industry demands, support enterprise development, promote brand creation, and ensure rapid, orderly, and healthy industry development.
6. Establishing a training system, organizing the compilation of professional training materials, and conducting various forms of professional training activities to improve practitioners' technical skills and business management capabilities.
7. Building a professional information platform for leather care. Based on the association's journal, website, and the "China Leather Care" website, establish a timely, accurate, and effective industry information system.
8. Carrying out industry exchange activities by organizing leather technology and management exchange meetings, special forums, inspection activities, leather vocational skills competitions, and other forms to lead the industry and enterprises in technical mutual assistance and support, promoting the overall improvement of the industry.
9. Recruiting well-established, influential, and reputable units or individuals engaged in the leather care profession as members of our Leather Care Professional Committee.
10. Member units can publish articles for free on the association's website, association journals, and other related domestic media, as well as promote their enterprises and participate in international and domestic industry technical exchange activities.
The Leather Care Professional Committee is the best platform for units and individuals engaged in this profession to showcase their technology and scale, playing a positive role in promoting the development of industry enterprises and enhancing enterprise visibility.
