Tianjin Laundry and Dyeing Association Holds Technical Seminar on Washing and Protecting Down Jackets and Cold-Resistant Clothing

Currently, the laundry and dyeing industry is in its peak season. To improve washing quality, provide honest service, meet consumer laundry service demands, and better serve consumers, the Tianjin Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association organized industry experts and related laundry enterprises to hold a "Technical Seminar on Washing Cold-Resistant Clothing and Down Jackets" on March 23, 2012, in response to the high complaint rate of 43.6% for cold-resistant clothing and down jackets in the first quarter of 2012. Everyone gathered to exchange and discuss laundry technology. The purpose was to improve skills, reduce laundry disputes, and promote social harmony.
First, member enterprises introduced their methods and approaches for washing cold-resistant clothing and down jackets, as well as the difficulties and challenging problems encountered during washing. Next, industry experts thoroughly answered various difficult laundry questions raised by the enterprises, sharing their decades of work experience openly and honestly. They explained the most direct and applicable laundry techniques and accident handling skills in simple and easy-to-understand language. Attendees listened attentively, appreciated the experts' high-level skills, broadened their horizons, benefited greatly, and recognized their own shortcomings in laundry services and how to improve service quality. Third, everyone requested that such activities be organized regularly to facilitate mutual exchange, communication, and joint improvement, thereby better serving consumers.
Finally, the association leaders put forward three requirements: First, according to the "Tianjin Laundry Service Management Measures" and the local Tianjin standard "Laundry Service Quality Standards" laundry operation procedures, ensure quality and quantity in completing laundry services to better serve consumers; second, when encountering difficult laundry problems, each laundry enterprise should promptly contact the association and industry experts to jointly discuss and find solutions to avoid laundry disputes. Third, strictly implement the "Tianjin Laundry Service Contract Text" and the "Tianjin Leather Shoes (Leather Goods, Bags) Maintenance Service Contract Text" formulated by the Tianjin Administration for Industry and Commerce. The front of the contract is the receipt (clothing collection voucher), and the back is the "Tianjin Laundry Service Agreement." The ten provisions of the "Agreement" clearly define the rights and obligations of consumers, ensuring transparent consumption, protecting consumers' legitimate rights and interests, reducing laundry disputes, promoting social harmony, and fostering the prosperity and development of Tianjin's laundry industry.
