On September 8-9, 2011, the Shaanxi Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association and the Xi'an Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association jointly held a meeting for member units above the executive director level. They conducted thorough research and discussion on the revised drafts of the original industry regulations "Shaanxi Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry Compensation Measures" and "Customer Notice," as well as six newly formulated local industry regulations: "Shaanxi Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry Linen Washing Quality Standards," "Shaanxi Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry Linen Compensation Measures," "Warm Tips," "Shaanxi Province Local Standard--Leather Garment Conditioning Quality Requirements," "Hospital Linen Washing Specifications," and "Leather and Fur Garment Laundry Specifications," along with two standardized agreements: "Entrusted Linen Washing Agreement" and "High-end Garment Cleaning Agreement," based on extensive solicitation of opinions.
After modification, supplementation, improvement, and a trial period, the above industry regulations will be revised and perfected by the quality and technical supervision department to become local industry regulations for the Shaanxi Province laundry and dyeing industry. The introduction and implementation of these regulations will play a crucial and positive role in the management of the Shaanxi Province laundry and dyeing industry, industry self-discipline, standardized operations, improving industry quality, better serving consumers, enhancing enterprise economic benefits, and safeguarding the rights and interests of operators and consumers. At the same time, the formulation and introduction of these regulations are also an important part of the development plan, industry regulations, and industry agreements of the Shaanxi Province laundry and dyeing industry, aimed at establishing an industry self-discipline mechanism, standardizing industry self-management behavior, promoting fair and orderly competition among enterprises, improving the overall quality of the industry, and protecting the overall interests of the industry, especially implementing the No. 5 Order "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures" issued by the three national departments.
It also marks that the Shaanxi Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association has standardized laundry and dyeing industry behavior and improved and perfected various laundry and dyeing industry regulations. In particular, some regulations have filled gaps in the normative behavior of the laundry and dyeing industry.
