On June 24th, the 2020 "China Luxury Leather Care Conference" concluded spectacularly on the China Laundry Committee's online training platform. This conference was hosted by the China Commercial Federation's Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee, co-organized by the China Commercial Federation's Commercial Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center, Beijing Hanhuang Weiye Brand Management Co., Ltd., Beijing Funait Laundry Service Co., Ltd., Beijing Jiebao Leather, and Haier IoT for Clothing. This luxury care conference was an innovative first attempt by the China Laundry Committee to adapt to social development trends under the impact of this year's pandemic, successfully transforming the professional forum from offline to online. The online training platform broke the limitations of borders and space. The conference invited nearly 30 leaders, experts, and craftsmen from the luxury leather care industry in China, Japan, the UK, Italy, Germany, and other countries. Through wonderful speeches, high-end dialogues, on-site visits, and technical demonstrations, it brought experience sharing to a global audience. From luxury leather care development trends, management experience, technological innovation to excellent craftsmanship, it provided a comprehensive and in-depth answer to industry concerns, greatly benefiting the participants.

Skills training, delivering industry talent
On June 17th, the three-day theoretical knowledge training for leather care workers officially started on the China Laundry Committee's online training platform, with over a hundred people registering and participating in the training assessment. Industry experts Zhihua, Jia Runze, and Yu Jinshan were invited to provide in-depth explanations, detailed analyses, and operational demonstrations on topics most concerned by practitioners in the leather care field: the application of leather chemicals in luxury leather goods maintenance, luxury leather care accident cases, and practical operations of leather care workers. Director Li Yilin from the training department provided online pre-exam guidance for the students, full of valuable content, greatly benefiting the learners.
The attempt and innovation of online training methods have built a broad platform to strengthen the construction of leather care skilled personnel, encourage practitioners to obtain certificates for their posts, and provide on-the-job training.
Wonderful speeches, forward-looking industry development
On the afternoon of June 22nd, the China Luxury Leather Care Conference was grandly held on the China Laundry Committee's online training platform. To deeply discuss the development trends in the luxury goods and leather products fields and the challenges in luxury care business management brought by the pandemic, the China Laundry Committee gathered well-known experts from China, Japan, the UK, Italy, Germany, and other countries. They focused on rich content such as luxury leather goods production, sales, care, consignment, care product research and development, and industry chain construction. Through wonderful speeches, they shared and discussed successful experiences and strategic thinking from various countries and outstanding enterprises from all dimensions, including the current status and development trends of the luxury care market, changes in the washing and care consumption industry chain, business management development, and service model innovation.
In the guest dialogue session, outstanding managers from well-known domestic enterprises focused on the forward-looking development of luxury care, combined with corporate business philosophies, closely following industry development trends, to broaden entrepreneurial ideas and develop new business channels for luxury care industry practitioners.
On-site study visit, appreciating enterprise style
On the morning of June 23rd, during the enterprise on-site visit session, five high-quality domestic luxury care enterprises were selected. Using the most direct and clear first-person perspective following the camera, the various advantages of the enterprises were concentrated and magnified for the audience in front of the screen. The China Laundry Committee attempted for the first time to provide a broader platform to benefit the industry in this way. It was a win-win innovation, allowing more viewers to appreciate enterprise style and meticulously learn management essence without leaving home.
Technical demonstration, inheriting the craftsman spirit
On the afternoon of June 23rd, guest speeches focused on luxury leather care, identification, marketing, management, and other aspects, conducting a China-Japan experience sharing lecture. A professional lawyer was invited to explain legal issues in luxury leather care, popularizing legal knowledge among industry colleagues to avoid risks.
The luxury care technology demonstration session of this conference attracted enthusiastic attention from industry insiders and outsiders once announced. The China Laundry Committee specially invited six well-known craftsmen with very rich technical experience and good reputations in the industry to interpret the true craftsman spirit with exquisite skills. The technical authority of China's laundry and dyeing industry was also invited to provide detailed commentary throughout the skill demonstration.
The China Luxury Leather Care Conference concluded successfully, but the inheritance of the craftsman spirit never stops! Amid the pandemic, laundry and dyeing enterprises have been affected to varying degrees, but it has further stimulated the learning enthusiasm of industry colleagues.
