We need innovation and development more than ever before.
In a complex and changing situation, how should the laundry and dyeing industry better promote innovation and drive development? The China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Committee will hold the China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Innovation Development Conference on November 25, 2022, on the China Laundry Committee's online training platform. With the theme "Innovation Leads, Empowering Revival," the conference will comprehensively showcase the latest industry developments in technology, products, applications, ecology, and talent, deeply discuss successful practices and industry concerns in service operations under the new development pattern, and share experiences.
The laundry and dyeing industry faces a long and arduous task in adhering to green and sustainable development. Water is an essential medium for production in washing enterprises. The investment in facilities and equipment such as sewage treatment and wastewater reuse is a crucial part of reasonable layout and standardized production for washing enterprises. Effectively achieving energy saving, consumption reduction, and emission reduction is key for laundry enterprises to lower operating costs.

Mr. Liu Jianping, graduated in chemical machinery and an engineer, initially engaged in sewage treatment in the coal mining industry, has worked in the washing industry for more than twenty years. Through long-term practical work, he has accumulated rich professional knowledge and experience. He currently serves as the Executive Deputy Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the Hebei Provincial Commercial Federation and holds important positions in multiple industry enterprises.

About the main sewage treatment process of Hebei Jiebao:
The China Laundry and Dyeing Industry "Group Standard for Reuse Water Quality Requirements of Public Textile Washing Wastewater" has been officially implemented since September 1, 2022. Taking full compliance with this group standard as an example for design, the entire process meets the reuse standard for washing wastewater without using any chemicals. Treating each ton of wastewater requires only 1.4 to 1.5 kWh of electricity, with the ozone and ultraviolet sterilization treatment stage consuming 0.7 kWh per ton. This process produces no secondary pollution, the water quality exceeds national relevant standards, and the system features good water quality, low energy consumption, simple process, easy operation, and stable effluent quality. It operates at normal temperature and is easy for industrial production.
The on-site equipment of the sewage treatment plant uses a fully automatic PLC electrical control system and equipment fault alarm system, centralized control, and automated operation. It can switch manually or automatically according to actual conditions, requires no dedicated management personnel, and has low management costs. It is easy to maintain and repair later, improving the reliability and stability of the entire sewage treatment system.
