Over the past three years, the laundry and dyeing industry has experienced the strongest cold wave, and the industry needs innovation and development more than ever. In this complex situation, to better promote innovation and drive development, the conference invited 24 well-known experts and senior executives from the laundry and related fields to showcase the innovative development of the laundry industry from technology, products, applications, ecology, and talent through wonderful speeches and roundtable dialogues.

On the morning of November 25th, Xin Yubo, Deputy Director of the China Laundry Committee and Director of the Leather Care Professional Office, President of Beijing Hanhwang Weiye, presided over the grand opening of the conference. According to the meeting agenda, the conference was divided into the following three main sessions:

Ms. Zhang Lijun, Vice President of the China General Chamber of Commerce, shared the keynote speech "Fully Understanding the Resilience of China's Economy, Stabilizing the Market, and Starting a Comprehensive Recovery." Through the explanation of indices, the detailed index observation results objectively reflected the resilience of the economy, showing us that the commercial economy still demonstrates strong vitality during difficult times. Despite many uncertainties and unexpected difficulties, we firmly believe that under the guidance of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party, China's commercial economy has abundant endogenous power and resilience and will surely usher in a bright future of high-quality development.

Pan Wei, Director of the Laundry Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, delivered the keynote speech "A Brief Discussion on Innovation and Development in China's Laundry Industry." Combining "China Laundry Industry Development Report 2021" latest data, it is predicted that the industry situation in 2022 will decline by 10-15% year-on-year, with insufficient market consumption capacity and confidence forming negative constraints, and rising operating costs causing huge pressure on enterprise profits. However, the pandemic will eventually pass, the industry's prospects are promising, difficulties can be overcome and resolved, and we must strengthen learning, improve internal skills, and promote the healthy development of the laundry industry with innovative thinking.

Sun Xiaofeng, Director of the Institute of Resource and Environmental Sciences at the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, delivered a speech titled "A Brief Analysis of the Carbon Neutral Path for the Laundry Industry." He pointed out clear directions for laundry enterprises to accurately understand the carbon neutral path and seize transformation opportunities on the way to achieving dual carbon goals.

Cao Xiaobin, General Manager of Ailan Clean Intelligent Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Quanjiafu Group, presented his latest invention patent — "Condensation Heat Pump Dryer." He detailed the technical principles and innovations of the "Condensation Heat Pump Dryer," which can reduce laundry risks, improve processing efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and help laundry enterprises achieve green and low-carbon transformation.

Fu Bin, Technical Engineer of Shanghai Weishi Machinery, shared various efficiency and energy-saving solutions in "Strengthening Confidence, Increasing Momentum, Helping Laundry Enterprises Sustain Profitability," based on practical application cases and data. This helps laundry industry managers improve efficiency, enhance cleanliness, and reduce energy consumption, assisting laundry enterprises in controlling costs while ensuring washing quality to achieve sustainable profitability.

Liu Ping, Chairman of Hebei Jiebao Shenguang, shared the "New Process for Environmental Protection, Intelligent, and Disinfection Treatment of Laundry Reused Water," detailing current policy and indicator requirements for wastewater treatment equipment in the public textile laundry field. He also brought ideas and inspirations for reasonable layout of wastewater treatment and reuse facilities and equipment from multiple aspects such as equipment technology, application characteristics, and usage effects, helping the audience realize standardized production.

Mr. Zhang Kang, Sales Director of Jiebao China North Region, focused on introducing Jiebao Group's "Wet Cleaning System - Caring for Fabrics, Caring for You" at the conference. Jiebao Group, as an excellent professional laundry solution provider in industrial, commercial, and self-service laundry fields, has made many adjustments and upgrades in wet cleaning processes and program applications. She described the new upgrade ideas brought by LG commercial wash and dry for small and medium laundry shops: efficient, sterilizing, environmentally friendly, and intelligent washing and drying equipment, lower laundry costs, and supporting remote contactless online laundry services. At the same time, its cross-industry alliance function provides opportunities for laundry shops to effectively integrate with more scenarios.

Chen Kai, Sales Director, and Xue Ping, Manager of Jiangsu Sea Lion, shared the keynote speech "Medical Mattress Cleaning, Disinfection, and Drying Production Line Leading a New Future for the Medical Laundry Industry," detailing the innovative R&D ideas of the tunnel-type medical mattress cleaning, disinfection, and drying production line. It successfully solves the washing and disinfection difficulties of the "medical mattress, quilt core, and pillow core three-piece set." The intelligent and efficient mattress cleaning and drying production line and supporting mattresses fill the domestic gap in medical mattress cleaning equipment and will provide strong support for hospital infection control and patient hospitalization quality improvement.

Zhang Guoqing, Founder and CEO of Da Jing Xi, delivered a speech titled "New Supply, New Demand—Industry Future Development Outlook Based on Industrial Internet." Online laundry in China has rapidly developed from nothing to strength. The industrial internet promotes the optimized integration of washing resources across different regions. "Da Jing Xi" enhances the quality of laundry services by providing efficient, convenient, and affordable services, offering consumers more choices in consumption scenarios and times, greatly boosting laundry consumption. General Manager Zhang Guoqing combined data obtained from the company's rapid development since the platform's establishment in 2018 with long-term changes in service categories, proposing that shoe cleaning demand is an opportunity for supply to create demand in the laundry and dyeing industry, and used detailed data to estimate the huge future supply gap in the shoe care market. He also looked forward to the future of the laundry and dyeing industry under the industrial internet.

Similarly, JD Laundry has also made successful explorations in promotion and operation. Li Yang, Director of JD Logistics Service Products, shared "Digitalization Helps New Development of Internet Laundry." The continuous growth of JD's business benefits from the strong operation, maintenance, management, and mature logistics capabilities of the internet platform. They improve user experience through effective application of digitalization, achieve precise user reach, empower central laundry factories, and assist the continuous innovation and development of China's laundry and dyeing industry.

Lei Yuchun, Chairman of Hangzhou Angel Group, shared "Under the Second-hand Luxury Trend, What Did We Do Right to Become a Leading Enterprise?" Angel started as a company dedicated to luxury goods care and gradually entered the second-hand luxury goods field. By fully utilizing the internet and digital technology, it successfully achieved rapid growth in the entire industry chain business of professional authentication, recycling, and training of luxury goods. To better realize the authentication and recycling of second-hand luxury goods, Angel also developed the Lei Xiaoan APP, making innovative attempts in the intelligent recycling of luxury bags and clothing, bringing breakthroughs to the digital transformation of second-hand luxury goods authentication.
