Notice on Launching the First Online Training for "Public Textile Laundry Care Specialist"
To all local laundry industry associations, members of the laundry professional committees, related enterprises, and practitioners in the laundry industry:
With China entering the stage of digital economy development, public textile laundry enterprises, as an important part of the laundry industry, have rapidly advanced mechanization, automation, and intelligent digitalization over the past two decades. This requires practitioners to master specific knowledge of washing, care, and disinfection of public textile fabrics, and also raises higher demands on their ability to manage, maintain, and analyze data of large-scale laundry equipment. To address the unique characteristics of public textile laundry, the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as "China GCC Laundry Committee") has launched a comprehensive and systematic "Public Textile Laundry Care Specialist" training course to fill the gap in specialized training in this field. This enables employees of public textile laundry enterprises to receive professional training matching their job roles and obtain the "Professional Competency Training Certificate." Looking ahead, the certification rate of "Public Textile Laundry Care Specialists" in public textile laundry enterprises may become an important indicator of the enterprise's technical assurance capability.
The first training session will be held on December 26, 2022, on the China GCC Laundry Committee's online training platform. The specific details are as follows:
1. Training Content
This course is designed based on the characteristics of modern public textile laundry production and is divided into medical and non-medical courses. The content covers more than ten courses including textile collection and sorting, logistics distribution and storage, textile washing processes, stain removal techniques, laundry conveyors and single-machine washing, use and maintenance of finishing equipment, textile finishing, safety production, and self-protection for practitioners (specific courses are subject to the start of the course).
2. Trainees
First, public textile laundry enterprises (including medical textile laundry, hotels, and other public textile laundry) that intend to improve employee skill levels and certification rates through standardized training to enhance enterprise competitiveness;
Second, personnel engaged or planning to engage in public textile laundry-related work who intend to obtain the "Public Textile Laundry Care Specialist" Professional Competency Training Certificate by participating in the training and assessment.
3. Training and Assessment Method
The training and assessment will be conducted through online video training on the China GCC Laundry Committee's online training platform, followed by an online theoretical exam. The scoring system is out of 100 points, with 60 points or above considered passing. Qualified candidates who pass the assessment and meet the eligibility criteria will be awarded the "Public Textile Laundry Care Specialist" Professional Competency Training Certificate by the China General Chamber of Commerce.
4. Schedule
1. Training course start time: December 26-27. Trainees must complete all courses before taking the theoretical exam.
2. Theoretical exam time: December 30, from 9:00 to 24:00. Trainees can take the exam according to their personal schedule.
5. Registration Method
Applicants for training and assessment should fill out the electronic version of the "Commercial Service Industry Professional Competency Training Certification Application Form" (see attachment) and send it along with a personal blue-background ID photo (.jpg format) to the email 471026805@qq.com before December 20. The email subject should be in the format "Name + Registration for Public Textile Laundry Care Specialist."
6. Fee Standards
Members: 399 RMB per person for the first training session; after the first session, the price will revert to 499 RMB per person. Non-members: 699 RMB per person. (Includes online training courses and certification fees)
