1. Sea Lion America Company Announced
In July 2019, Jiangsu Sea Lion Machinery Co., Ltd. announced the establishment of Sea Lion America Co., headquartered in Westbrook, Connecticut, USA, to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The establishment of this company, marks Jiangsu Sea Lion's official entry into the Americas, becoming Asia's top laundry equipment manufacturer supporting the North American, Mexican, and Caribbean markets.
Sea Lion America is led by laundry industry veterans Mr. Ed Kirejczyk and Ms. Caroline Wojcicki, aiming to provide unprecedented local sales and after-sales services covering the full range of automated, washing, and finishing technology equipment produced by Jiangsu Sea Lion.
2. Big Data Laundry Energy-saving and Environmentally Friendly New Technology Celebrates Sea Lion's 50th Anniversary
It is reported that for the upcoming 50th anniversary of Sea Lion, the company will launch a series of green laundry new technologies with information as the product. These green laundry new technologies will also be showcased collectively at the China Laundry Industry Conference exhibition held in Shanghai in September.
Sea Lion will introduce green technology-equipped products — Hydrofinity (micro-particle washing machine); finishing storage high-hanging systems and hanging bags equipped with material transfer; new energy and reusable dryers, flatwork ironers, and air thermal dryers; as well as efficient finishing, tunnel ironing, and intelligent receiving and dispatching cabinets for central laundry plants; antibacterial laundry dragons, mattress washing, droplet-type washing, and other series of products for medical-specific antibacterial equipment; In line with business model updates, a full set of software system applications featuring digitalization, informatization, and intelligence will be launched.

Furthermore, to further implement the national departments' "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Healthy Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises" which propose cultivating a batch of specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative 'little giant' enterprises with outstanding main business, strong competitiveness, and good growth potential, and to promote and enhance the specialization capabilities and levels of SMEs, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has selected and announced the first batch of specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative 'little giant' enterprises list, with Jiangsu Sea Lion Machinery Co., Ltd. as the only laundry equipment company on the list.
Shortly after being selected as a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative 'little giant' enterprise, at the "Strengthening Technological Innovation, Serving a Better Life" China Light Industry Top 100 Enterprises Summit Forum, Jiangsu Sea Lion Machinery Co., Ltd., as a leading company in the laundry industry, was awarded the titles of "Top 30 Enterprises in China's Light Industry Equipment Manufacturing" and "Top 100 Enterprises in China's Light Industry Technology," and was also ranked among the top ten enterprises in China's laundry machinery industry.
