National Labeling Committee Solicits Standards Related to the Washing and Dyeing Industry

To facilitate industry practitioners in timely and accurately understanding the latest status of China's laundry and dyeing industry, familiarizing themselves with relevant standards, providing technical support for enterprises in innovation development and strategic decision-making, and promoting standardized, normalized, and collaborative development of the laundry and dyeing industry, the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce and the National Laundry and Dyeing Standardization Technical Committee published the "Compilation of Laundry and Dyeing Industry Standards" (referred to as "Compilation") in 2016. The publication of the "Compilation" has been widely praised within the industry. As the first tool book for the standardization work of China's laundry and dyeing industry to date, it laid the foundation for the industry to have laws to follow, rules to abide by, and evidence to rely on.
However, with the introduction of new standards and the revision of old standards in the laundry and dyeing industry, the 2016 edition of the "Compilation" can no longer meet the industry's needs. Therefore, we plan to revise the 2016 edition of the "Compilation." The revised "Compilation" will be based on the 2016 edition, deleting abolished standards, updating revised standards, and adding newly formulated standards.
To make the new edition of the "Compilation" more comprehensively cover related fields of the laundry and dyeing industry, provide the industry with the latest standard publication information and original standard texts, and improve the quality of the "Compilation," we are now soliciting currently effective standard documents from relevant units in the laundry and dyeing industry.
Solicitation Requirements:
1. The solicitation content includes currently effective laws and regulations, national standards, industry standards, local standards, group standards, enterprise standards, and related standards for washing machinery, chemical auxiliaries, hygiene, and environmental protection in the laundry and dyeing industry.
2. Standard text electronic formats should be sent to the China Laundry Committee's email, and paper documents should be submitted to the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce.
3. The submission deadline is before May 31, 2019.
