Under the rampant spread of the novel coronavirus, the new leadership team of the Anhui Province Laundry Industry Association led the association units and members to work together to join the battle against the epidemic. President Tang Jianhua, Vice Presidents Wei Changsheng and Li Guojing took the lead in supporting the frontline epidemic prevention efforts through various forms of work and activities.
Enterprises such as Hefei Huawei and Wuhu Bona
Shoulder to shoulder rushing to aid Wuhan
Anhui Hefei Huawei Laundry Co., Ltd., established in 1998 and led by Chairman Tang Jianhua, focuses on details and continuous innovation, using RFID IoT technology to create intelligent management and services for medical laundry. It has developed into the largest specialized medical laundry rental service company in Anhui Province, with branches in Bozhou, Huangshan, Huainan, Feixi, Fuyang, Lu'an, Chaohu, Hanshan, Lujiang, and other places, covering medical laundry services throughout Anhui Province.
While expanding the enterprise, Anhui Hefei Huawei Laundry Co., Ltd. pays great attention to corporate culture construction, actively participates in social welfare activities, and insists on leading by example in times of crisis. During the SARS outbreak in 2003, all Huawei employees worked overtime on the front line to ensure timely washing and disinfection of hospital fabrics; during the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, employees worked overnight and completed 800 emergency armbands within a few hours.
The epidemic is an order, and epidemic prevention is a responsibility. On February 4, at the critical moment of severe epidemic prevention and control in Wuhan, Huawei Chairman Tang Jianhua led the company to urgently dispatch thousands of sets of hand-washing clothes and pants to Wuhan, supporting frontline medical staff in epidemic prevention work and working alongside them to ensure hospital logistics support.
When Wuhan Huoshenshan Hospital was put into use, Anhui Wuhu Bona Plastic Products Co., Ltd. produced a batch of medical linen carts free of charge to meet the hospital's epidemic prevention logistics needs. Although the products were successfully produced, strict traffic control in various places recently made transportation to Wuhan difficult. At this critical moment, the Wuhu Blue Dolphin Aid Wuhan Anti-epidemic Convoy extended a helping hand to ensure the medical linen carts were delivered to Huoshenshan Hospital before it was put into use, working together to support Wuhan frontline hospitals.
Private enterprise Changxing Textile
Fighting on the epidemic prevention frontline at critical moments
Laian Changxing Textile & Garment Co., Ltd. is located in Chahe Town, Laian County, Anhui Province, less than 30 kilometers from Nanjing Xinjiekou. It is one of the larger, more advanced, strictly managed, and high-quality washing and disinfection enterprises in the same industry in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. Its main service targets include Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital, Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, Eastern Theater Command General Hospital, Nanjing Zhongda Hospital, and dozens of hospitals in Huai'an, Chuzhou (Anhui), Ma'anshan, and other places.
To ensure that the infection source is controlled within the hospital's controllable range and to protect Changxing Textile from contamination by the novel coronavirus, the company invested more than 600,000 yuan to urgently purchase 2 isolation washing machines, a “Shuishen HD-240L hypochlorous acid water generator,” and added a mist spray disinfection room for direct personnel spraying disinfection and trolley tool disinfection, as well as internal process modifications in the washing workshop.
Extraordinary times require extraordinary responses. During this fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia, under the leadership of Chairman Wei Changsheng, Changxing Textile not only performed its medical washing and disinfection duties well but also ensured prompt service response. They urgently dispatched 30 sets of long-sleeved hand-washing clothes and pants and 16 sets of doctor uniforms, washed, disinfected, and packaged them, then delivered them by dedicated personnel and vehicles to Drum Tower Hospital. They urgently supplied 100 isolation gowns and 100 sets of long-sleeved hand-washing clothes and pants, delivered by SF Express to Huai'an District People's Hospital. They quickly washed, organized, and packaged 300 isolation gowns and 100 sheets (bed sheets) and sent them to the Eastern Theater Command General Hospital to support Wuhan medical efforts. On January 31, they undertook washing services for Zhongda Hospital affiliated with Southeast University, which was not originally in the contract. Overcoming many difficulties, they stuck to their posts during the difficult epidemic prevention period to provide washing and disinfection services.

Donation expert Li Guojing
Has been busy throughout this Spring Festival
During this special Spring Festival, many industry personnel across the country gave up their holiday to work 24 hours on the frontline of epidemic prevention and control. Due to material shortages, the health of frontline workers was not guaranteed, which concerned many caring enterprises and individuals. Li Guojing, general manager of Anhui Hefei Meizhijie Laundry Co., Ltd., is one of the many donors who kept busy.
From January 25 to 27, Li Guojing led company employees to deliver more than 2,000 masks to frontline personnel in civil aviation, railway systems, and community residents; from January 28 to 29, they delivered more than 100 electronic and mercury thermometers, as well as large quantities of 84 disinfectant and medical alcohol. Besides warming frontline epidemic workers, he also set up a free pickup area at the Meizhijie factory gate, where each person could receive 500ml of 75-degree alcohol for free.
Since the first day of the lunar new year, driving out to deliver alcohol, disinfectant, and other protective supplies has become one of Li Guojing and his team's daily tasks. They are either donating or on the way to donate. Li Guojing said: "Paying attention to epidemic prevention and control, although we cannot go to the frontline to support them, we can do some logistics support work to the best of our ability. After learning that many frontline workers were short of protective supplies, I found ways to buy some masks, alcohol, and disinfectant, hoping those fighting on the epidemic prevention frontline protect themselves well."
