From August 5 to 7, 2015, the 2015 China Skills Competition - the 9th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition was grandly held in Beijing. After three days of intense and inspiring competition, the contest concluded successfully. Competitors from Shanghai's laundry and dyeing industry achieved certain results.
It is understood that this competition involved 141 contestants from 20 provinces and cities, 38 national-level referees from across the country participated in refereeing and supervision, and 16 industry experts took part in organizing the competition as staff.
Representatives from Shanghai's laundry and dyeing industry fought hard in the competition, achieving certain results in multiple events including laundry and dyeing knowledge contest, stain removal skills competition, leather care skills competition, shoe care skills competition, garment ironing skills competition, and clothing mending skills competition.
The Shanghai Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association was awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Organization Award" in this competition.
