Guangdong Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association Holds "Laundry Service Process Open Day" Event
Over a hundred "Laundry Observers" had close contact with Tiantian Laundry
On June 7, 2015, the Guangdong Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association held a "Laundry Service Process Open Day" event at Tiantian Laundry's Zengcheng factory, where over a hundred "Laundry Observers" had close contact with the well-known Guangzhou laundry company Tiantian Laundry. Some citizens said, "After visiting Tiantian Laundry's production workshop today, I finally understood what dry cleaning clothes is and what a dry cleaning machine looks like."
It is reported that in order to help the general public and consumers have a correct understanding of "dry cleaning" and "water washing" methods for clothes and to increase their knowledge of the laundry industry, the provincial laundry and dyeing industry association specially invited Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce; Wang Xueren, President of the Beijing Laundry Industry Association; Li Jingjin, Founding President of the Taiwan Franchise Chain Association and Vice President of the Cross-Strait Chain Operation Association; as well as experts from the provincial laundry industry to jointly hold this "Laundry Service Process Open Day" event. Relevant leaders and personnel from the Guangzhou Economic and Trade Commission, Guangzhou Administration for Industry and Commerce, Guangdong Consumer Council, and Guangzhou Consumer Council, together with the first batch of over a hundred Guangzhou "Laundry Observers," personally experienced the entire clothes washing process and felt the professional laundry process and standardized management.
According to staff from the provincial laundry and dyeing industry association, the reason for choosing Tiantian Laundry's central factory to hold the association's first open day event is mainly because the company took the lead in formulating two local laundry industry standards in Guangdong Province as early as 2005, actively participated in the formulation of multiple national laundry standards, is a "national-level service industry standardization pilot implementation unit," and has become one of the laundry companies in China most dedicated to promoting industry standardization and normalization. The author learned that Tiantian Laundry has the largest number of dry cleaning machines in the country among its peers, with top production scale and laundry technology. Especially in September 2011, it established the "Tiantian Anna High-end Laundry and Luxury Care" production line, providing personalized and thoughtful services for consumers with needs, playing a positive role in standardizing laundry industry standards and promoting the development of Guangdong Province's laundry and washing industry.
This open day event also arranged for senior experts from the domestic and provincial laundry industry to answer questions raised by "Laundry Observers" about laundry issues, explain common knowledge about "dry cleaning" and "water washing" of clothes, as well as knowledge on special fabric analysis and luxury care and maintenance. Some interested citizens also visited Tiantian Laundry's soon-to-be-completed world-class intelligent central washing factory, which will set up a "Laundry World Culture Museum." At that time, more citizens will be able to have a deeper understanding of laundry culture and play a positive role in the improvement of the laundry industry and the formation of culture.
