The National Leather Care Special Event Successfully Concluded

Hosted by the China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee, and co-organized by the Suzhou Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association and Kunshan Ziwei Laundry Company, the "2014 National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Leather Care Special Event" was successfully concluded recently in Kunshan, Jiangsu. The entire event was held from November 18 to 21, including three parts: the "First Leather Care Technician Training", the "National Vocational Skill Appraisal Evaluator Training Class for Laundry Workers and Leather Care Workers", and the "Expanded Meeting of the Leather Care Professional Office of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee". More than one hundred people, including the main leaders of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee and personnel from local laundry and dyeing industry associations and enterprises, participated in this event.
Director Wang Shuyuan of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the Leather Care Technician Training, encouraging trainees to make greater contributions to the development of the laundry and dyeing industry. Trainees in the training class, through high-end technical discussions, theoretical knowledge tests, and submission of technical papers, will receive the "National Vocational Qualification Certificate for Leather Care Technicians" if they pass. This training adopted a seminar format instead of lectures, with trainees conducting comprehensive discussions on topics such as technology, management, and development in the leather care profession, benefiting greatly.
The National Vocational Skill Appraisal Evaluator Training Class for Laundry Workers and Leather Care Workers was taught by Director Liu Juan from the Vocational Skill Appraisal Guidance Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and Executive Deputy Director Wang Houzeng of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee. The training content included: the national vocational skill appraisal management system, management of vocational skill appraisal personnel and examination affairs, and the evaluation content and work norms in the practical assessment of evaluators. Those who participate in the training and pass the examination and certification by the Vocational Skill Appraisal Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security will be issued the corresponding "National Vocational Skill Appraisal Evaluator" certificate card by the Ministry's Vocational Skill Appraisal Center.
The expanded meeting of the Leather Care Professional Office was held on the afternoon of the 20th. Attendees included Pan Wei, Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee; Executive Deputy Director Wang Houzeng; Deputy Directors Lu Zhiji and Lin Jun; Deputy Secretary-Generals Wang Jidong and Wang Baohong; Deputy Directors of the Leather Care Office Chen Changzeng, Cao Dongning, Liu Jianhua, Bao Licong, Zhang Hongxu, Yang Luyou; Hu Kaiyan, President of the Suzhou Laundry and Dyeing Association; Yuan Man, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee of the Qinghai Business Federation; invited industry experts and enterprise representatives Meng Shaokai, Zhi Hao, Ren Shucheng, Zhu Jianhua, Ni Nianyong, Chen Tao, Wang Xuefeng, Zeng Youquan, Su Haixia, Zu Hongmei, Dong Bowen; and staff of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee Leather Care Office. At the meeting, Wang Houzeng summarized the work of the Leather Care Office and outlined the key points for 2015. Subsequently, participants had lively discussions on topics such as industry standards work, organization and preparation for the national laundry and dyeing industry vocational skills competition leather care project, hosting the "National Luxury Leather Care Technology Exchange and Demonstration Conference", construction of the leather care information platform, and vocational skill training and appraisal for leather care workers. Members actively offered suggestions and shared their views and opinions. Finally, Pan Wei gave a concluding speech and expressed gratitude to all attendees for their long-term support of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's work.
