Establishment of the Research Office for the Development of the Laundry and Dyeing Industry by the Laundry and Dyeing Committee

On June 20th, the Laundry and Dyeing Committee's Laundry and Dyeing Industry Development Research Office was established and held its first plenary meeting at the China Science and Technology Hall in Beijing, achieving great success. The China Commercial Federation Laundry and Dyeing Committee decided to establish the Laundry and Dyeing Industry Development Research Office, aiming to actively study and explore global laundry and dyeing industry development trends, more broadly carry out international information exchange and cooperation in the laundry and dyeing industry, and lead the scientific and healthy development of the industry. Thirty specially invited guests and researchers attended the meeting, including Wang Shuyuan, Pan Wei, Wang Houzeng, Wang Xueren, Zhang Rongyao, Zhu Lijun, Guo Jidong, Weng Xiangqun, Zheng Yongxiang, Xu Gendi, Yu Geli, Lin Ying, Si Aina (Anouk van der Steen•Netherlands), among others. The first batch of 17 specially appointed Chinese and foreign researchers are: Wen Lisheng, Peter Wennekes (Netherlands), Wang Jiping (USA), Bai Pinzhou (Belgium), Roman Prado (Spain), Zhang Rongyao, Liu Jinqiang, Michel Fournier (France), Jurenmu (Japan), Liu Yongxin, Shi Changhong, Gong Yan, Quan Limin, Shao Jianzhong, Guan Yan, Zhu Zhaobang, Xue Dapeng. At the meeting, Wang Shuyuan, director of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, gave a mobilization speech and presented appointment letters to the specially invited Chinese and foreign researchers. She pointed out that the establishment of the development research office is of great and far-reaching significance, encouraging all researchers to conscientiously fulfill their duties and not disgrace their mission. In the new era of laundry and dyeing industry development, they should stand at the forefront of the times, grasp the correct direction of development, provide the best decision-making plans, and explore ideal paths for the development of the laundry and dyeing industry.
The meeting focused on serious discussions around topics such as "Development of the Laundry and Dyeing Industry under the Current International Economic Situation," "Development Trends and Manufacturing Concepts of Laundry and Dyeing Equipment," "Development Trends of Laundry and Dyeing Chemicals," "Mobile Internet and the Future of Laundry," "Challenges and Opportunities Coexisting in the Laundry and Dyeing Industry," and "Changes in the Market Environment." Researchers Wang Jiping, Peter Wennekes, Zhang Rongyao, Roman Prado, and specially invited guests Wang Xueren and Zhu Lijun delivered key speeches. The meeting also discussed the "Work Regulations of the Laundry and Dyeing Industry Development Research Office of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee" and elected Professor Wang Jiping as the director of the research office.
The participants unanimously agreed that the establishment of the development research office in the laundry and dyeing industry is a major event in the history of the industry's development. It is an inevitable product of the industry reaching a certain stage and a necessity for our laundry and dyeing service industry to continue deepening service models, grasp service directions, improve service quality, keep pace with the times, and narrow the gap with developed countries. We must make great efforts to do this well! The researchers expressed that, in accordance with the spirit of the work regulations, they will stand at the global height of the laundry and dyeing industry to broadly carry out international exchanges and cooperation, grasp industry development trends, study diligently, produce more results, and strive to contribute ideas and strategies for the rapid development of the laundry and dyeing industry.
