To all local laundry and dyeing industry associations (chambers of commerce), laundry and related enterprises, and committee units:
The finals of the 11th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Finals") will be held in September 2019 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. This competition is an important part of the China Laundry Industry Conference and the 2019 China Skills Competition—National Commercial Industry Vocational Skills Competition. It is a national-level Category II competition and the most authoritative vocational skills competition in the laundry and dyeing industry. To truly showcase the best technical level of China's laundry and dyeing industry and gather the most outstanding talents, the organization plan for the 11th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition sub-competition areas and participating teams is hereby notified as follows:
I. Basic conditions for organizing sub-competition areas and participating teams
1. From September 29, 2017, to August 25, 2019, local associations (chambers of commerce) (related units) or large chain enterprises that have organized or plan to organize regional or enterprise laundry and dyeing vocational skills competitions and are willing to participate in the national finals may apply to be sub-competition areas of the 11th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition and organize teams to participate in the finals.
2. When national large chain enterprises organize sub-competition areas and participating teams, the principle is that the selected players should not overlap with those from the preliminary competitions organized by the local associations (chambers of commerce) (team formation conditions see Article 3). If there is no association locally or the association has not organized sub-competition areas or teams, regional chain enterprises may independently apply to form regional sub-competition areas and teams.
3. Organizing 5 or more players to participate in the finals can qualify as the regional (enterprise) team responsible for the exclusive organization of one or several projects in that region.
II. Rights and interests of sub-competition areas or participating teams
1. The regional (enterprise) preliminary competitions applying as sub-competition areas may be named the 11th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition Preliminary Competition, and the related participating teams may be named participating teams. The competition organizer may apply for technical support from the finals organizing committee.
2. Regions (enterprises) that have set up sub-competition areas and organized participating teams will have the right to register selected players from their region (enterprise) to participate in the finals.
3. Units intending to apply as sub-competition areas and organize participating teams for the 11th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition should complete the "11th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition Sub-competition Area and Participating Team Registration Form" and fax it with an official seal to the finals organizing committee before June 25, 2019. The organizing committee will publish the contact information of the organizing institutions on China Laundry Network and the China Laundry Committee WeChat public platform based on the applications.
4. Regions (enterprises) applying as sub-competition areas or organizing participating teams that have fewer than 5 registered players before August 25, 2019, will not enjoy the exclusive right to organize registration for the finals and may be organized by other units or the finals organizing committee on their behalf.
5. For regions that have not applied as sub-competition areas or organized participating teams, the finals organizing committee may directly arrange the registration of local players.
6. Organizing 8 or more players to participate in the 11th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition finals will qualify for the honor of applying for the "Outstanding Organization Award."
III. About the finals organizing committee
1. The finals organizing committee will be jointly composed of leaders from associations (enterprises) applying to form sub-competition areas and participating teams, the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, the China General Chamber of Commerce Commercial Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center, and other units.
