Today, The China Laundry Committee was invited to participate in the "Credit Makes Consumption More Assured — 2019 March 15 International Consumer Rights Day Theme Promotion Event" held at the People's Daily. The event was hosted by the China Consumers Association and co-organized by People's Daily Online. At the event, the annual theme survey report "Credit Makes Consumption More Assured" was released, showcasing the special market governance carried out by relevant government departments targeting consumer pain points and the credit-building actions undertaken by industry organizations. Consumer representatives who actively supervised were commended, the results of the "2018 Search for the Most Beautiful Consumer Rights Protection Figures" were announced, and the event was simultaneously broadcast online.
China Laundry Committee Director Pan Wei and China Consumers Association Vice President and Secretary-General Zhu Jianqiao exchanged views on site.
The China Commercial Federation Laundry Professional Committee and dozens of national associations solemnly pledged during the event. Director Pan Wei stated in his speech: We will conscientiously implement the standards and regulations of the laundry industry, promote credit building among laundry enterprises, and establish credit files. We will strengthen technical training, improve service quality, so consumers can wash with confidence and use with peace of mind; conscientiously fulfill the responsibilities and obligations as the technical support unit for appraisal of the China Consumers Association, provide quality appraisal consultation for laundry, use the "National Laundry Service Dispute Resolution Measures" as the basis for rights protection, properly resolve disputes, and fully safeguard consumer rights.

Subsequently, representatives of various associations jointly signed on the banner, responding to the China Consumers Association's "Credit Makes Consumption More Assured" campaign and launching industry credit-building self-discipline actions.

China Consumers Association Vice President and Secretary-General Zhu Jianqiao called in his speech for industry associations to strengthen industry self-discipline. The stricter the rules, the more it helps enhance the industry's credibility. He also expressed special thanks for the support and response from national industry associations to this event.
