The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee Economic and Trade Friction Early Warning Point Established

On the afternoon of March 1, 2019, the China Commercial Federation's Trade Friction Early Warning Agency Work Meeting was held in Beijing. Zhou Jingying, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the China Commercial Federation (Director of the Trade Friction Early Warning Agency of the China Commercial Federation), Fu Longcheng, Vice President (Executive Director of the Trade Friction Early Warning Agency of the China Commercial Federation), Ma Wei, Deputy Secretary-General and Director of the International Department (Deputy Director of the Trade Friction Early Warning Agency), and the heads of the China Commercial Federation's first approved trade friction early warning points attended the meeting. 
The meeting announced the "Reply from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade on the Establishment of the Trade Friction Early Warning Agency of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade." The China Commercial Federation's Washing and Dyeing Professional Committee was approved to establish the "Trade Friction Early Warning Point of the Washing and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade." A total of 9 institutions recommended by the China Commercial Federation applied to establish friction points. After strict written review and on-site inspection by the CCPIT, only 4 institutions were approved: the Washing and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation, the China Meat Association, the Arbitration Professional Committee of the National Urban Agricultural Trade Center Federation, and the Commodity Trading Market Professional Committee of the China Commercial Federation.
The Trade Friction Early Warning Point of the Washing and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade was established in response to the continuous increase in import and export trade in China's washing and dyeing industry, the frequent changes in the international trade situation, and the intensification of friction issues. The early warning point will cooperate with relevant national agencies and international organizations, combining the problems encountered by washing and dyeing enterprises in import and export trade, and will take measures such as information notification, trade lobbying, legal defense, and consultation dialogue to eliminate and resolve frictions and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the industry and enterprises. It will also organize enterprises with international trade needs to learn relevant legal knowledge and conduct compliance training to help washing and dyeing enterprises better carry out international business, in line with industry demands.
The Trade Friction Early Warning Point of the Washing and Dyeing Committee will start investigating the import and export trade situation of enterprises in the national washing and dyeing industry, study the establishment of the organizational structure and related work procedures for this task, aiming to provide good service for resolving trade frictions for washing and dyeing industry enterprises. It also hopes that enterprises in the washing and dyeing industry engaged in import and export trade activities will actively contact the Washing and Dyeing Committee to contribute ideas and suggestions for this work.
