Deputy Director Wang Houzeng analyzed the reasons for odors appearing on clothes after dry cleaning based on short clips of viewers' laundry experiences during the program. He also explained the quality standards that dry-cleaned clothes should meet, referencing China's current "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Management Measures" and "Clothing Washing Quality Requirements." At the same time, he introduced to consumers how to store clothes after taking them home, carpet cleaning methods, and other commonly used daily knowledge. Questions that often cause consumer misunderstandings, such as which clothes are suitable for water washing and which are suitable for dry cleaning, were also answered one by one.
Expert Wu Ruizhang explained common problems in household laundry during the program. For example, how to prevent wool sweaters from shrinking, and he clarified misconceptions in daily washing such as white clothes getting grayer with washing, washing light colors before dark colors, and the misuse of fabric softener in cold water washing, while proposing correct operation methods. Expert Yin Xiaojun demonstrated professional laundry stain removal techniques.
The program is scheduled to be broadcast at the end of February, and the Laundry and Dyeing Committee will notify everyone in advance to watch it.
