To all member units, local laundry and dyeing industry associations, and related enterprises:
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, laundry and dyeing enterprises and industry associations nationwide have participated in epidemic prevention and control with a strong sense of political and social responsibility. A number of member units have stepped forward, taking the lead and playing a model role in the laundry and dyeing industry cluster, making important contributions to epidemic prevention and control efforts. Many touching stories have emerged during the fight against the pandemic, demonstrating the industry's spirit of courage, innovation, unity, and mutual assistance. In accordance with the Ministry of Civil Affairs' "Notice on Standardized Evaluation and Commendation Activities for Social Organizations in Epidemic Prevention and Control," to encourage excellence and summarize and publicize the valuable experiences and outstanding contributions of the laundry and dyeing industry in the fight against the pandemic, and to provide reference for better future service in the industry, the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as "our association") has decided to launch a nationwide collection of advanced collective and individual deeds in combating COVID-19.
For particularly outstanding deeds and advanced experiences that have guiding significance for the industry's epidemic prevention and control work, our association will follow national regulations to give public recognition and announce them through websites, journals, WeChat, and other media.
The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
1. Scope of Collection
The scope of this activity includes laundry and dyeing enterprises, industry associations, related units, and staff who have made outstanding contributions in the fight against COVID-19.
2. Application Method
1. Laundry and dyeing enterprises, associations, or related units that are members of our association may voluntarily apply; members of local and relevant industry laundry (cleaning) associations may also recommend applications to our association through local associations or related organizations.
2. Participating collectives and individuals should respectively fill out the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Advanced Collective Deeds Application Form for Combating COVID-19" and the "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Advanced Individual Deeds Application Form for Combating COVID-19," submit them to the recommending unit for review and approval, and then recommend them to our association; members of our association may submit directly.
3. Material requirements and submission method: Relevant application materials should be mailed directly to our association. If audio-visual materials are included, they must be clear and visible; videos should not exceed 10 minutes, photos should not exceed 20 (in jpg format), and saved on a USB drive to be mailed together. At the same time, please send the electronic version of the above materials to the email: chinalaundry@vip.163.com (please indicate in the email: Application for Advanced Deeds in Epidemic Prevention and Control in the Laundry and Dyeing Industry).
4. The application deadline is November 30, 2020.
