Notice on Holding the 2012 National (Xi'an) Laundry Technology Exchange and Demonstration Conference

To all local laundry industry associations and member units of the laundry professional committee,
Laundry-related enterprises and laundry industry practitioners:

To continuously improve the professional technical level of laundry industry practitioners and strengthen industry exchanges, the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce will hold the "2012 National Laundry Technology Exchange and Demonstration Conference" in Xi'an from July 16 to 18. The conference will invite well-known Chinese laundry experts such as Qi Datong and Li Jingjin (Taiwan) to conduct on-site exchanges and answer questions on difficult laundry techniques. At the same time, the national vocational qualification technician (Level 2) assessment for laundry workers is planned (see attachment for details).

1. Conference Content

1. Identification and washing methods of textile fabrics (lectured by Associate Professor Li Qian from Xi'an University of Engineering and Technology);

2. Identification and removal techniques of difficult stains (lectured by Qi Datong, expert of the Laundry Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce);

3. Prevention and repair of laundry accidents (lectured by Li Jingjin, laundry expert from Taiwan);

4. Importance of front desk service and customer dispute handling (lectured by Li Yuchen);

5. Selection and performance optimization of laundry equipment (lectured by expert from Hangxing);

6. Exchange discussions and on-site Q&A;

7. "Laundry Family" large-scale networking dinner — communication, friendship, and cooperation.

2. Participants

1. Domestic laundry industry experts, member units of the laundry professional committee, local laundry industry associations and related units, and personnel from well-known industry enterprises;

2. Laundry practitioners nationwide eager to learn and exchange laundry technology through participation.

3. Time and Place

1. Time: Full-day registration on July 16, conference on July 17 and 18.

4. Registration Method

Please fill in the attendance receipt (click to download) and fax or email it to the Laundry Committee before July 10. QQ submissions are also accepted. (Laundry Committee members must fill in the member unit number in the receipt form; member rates will apply. Without member number, non-member rates will be charged.)

Due to limited conference room capacity and to ensure the quality of the exchange, the number of participants is limited. Registration is based on the final payment time, and places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. Fee Standards

1. Members: 1350 RMB/person; Non-members: 1500 RMB/person (includes conference materials, "Laundry Family" dinner, meals on July 17 and 18, and accommodation from July 16 to 18).

2. Conference fees must be paid before July 10.

3. The national vocational qualification assessment fee for laundry workers is not included in the above conference fee; see attachment for details.

Notice on the National Occupational Qualification Assessment for Laundry Technicians

During the "2012 National Laundry Technology Exchange and Demonstration Conference," the Laundry Committee plans to conduct the National Occupational Qualification Assessment for Laundry Technicians (Level 2). The specific matters are as follows:

1. Participants

Personnel engaged in laundry-related work who intend to obtain the National Occupational Qualification Certificate for Laundry Technicians (Level 2) issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security by participating in the assessment.

2. Application Conditions

Applicants must meet one of the following conditions to apply for the technician occupational qualification:

(1) After obtaining the senior professional qualification certificate in this occupation, have continuously worked in this occupation for more than 5 years, completed the standard training hours of the technician training in this occupation, and obtained a completion certificate.
(2) After obtaining the senior professional qualification certificate in this occupation, have continuously worked in this occupation for more than 8 years.
(3) Graduates of senior technical schools in this occupation (major) who have obtained the senior professional qualification certificate and have continuously worked in this occupation for more than 2 years.

3. Registration Method

1. Applicants who wish to participate in the assessment should fill out the "National Occupational Skill Appraisal Application Form" (click to download) and fax or email it to the Laundry Committee before June 30, also send via QQ. On the registration day, submit the official form along with a copy of your ID card and two personal 2-inch color photos.

2. Collect exam-related materials on the registration day.

4. Assessment Method

The assessment will be conducted through a closed-book written test and the writing of a related required paper. The assessment is scored out of 100 points, with a passing score of 60 or above.

Candidates who pass the qualification review and the written test will be awarded the Laundry Technician (Level 2) "National Occupational Qualification" certificate.

5. Assessment Time and Location

Registration on the afternoon of July 18, exam on the morning of July 19.

6. Fee Standards

Members: 850 RMB/person, Non-members: 1000 RMB/person (includes exam materials, assessment fees, certification fees, accommodation on the 18th, and lunch on the 19th; fees for accommodation can be refunded if not used).

7. Notes

If fewer than 30 people register for this assessment, the Laundry Committee will cancel the assessment. Registered candidates will be promptly informed via the "China Laundry" website and other related platforms and assisted in arranging participation in future assessment classes.
