1. On May 5th, the 2018 National Laundry Standardization Work Conference and the Second National Laundry Standardization Technical Committee Re-election Meeting were held in Guangzhou. This meeting completed the re-election of the Laundry Label Committee, improved the organizational structure; introduced the significance of standards, strengthened awareness of standard work; conducted standard knowledge training, enhancing understanding of industry standardization. Through the training, the Laundry Label Committee and the China Laundry Committee issued the "Laundry Industry Standardization Training Certificate" to participants.
2. From May 6th to 7th, Pan Wei, Director of the China Laundry Committee, visited Hunan and had in-depth communication with association leaders such as Fu Wei. He inspected enterprises including Mengjie Home Life Pavilion, Pisto Workshop, Huatian Laundry Central Factory, Jingjie Laundry Company, and Xunjie Public Textile Factory, and informed everyone about the preparation status of the 19th Laundry Industry Exhibition series of activities to be held in Shanghai from July 17th to 20th.
3. On May 22nd, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment held a seminar on the "Dry Cleaning Industry Air Pollutant Emission Standards" in Beijing. Pan Wei, Director of the China Laundry Committee, and Feng Jinna, Deputy Secretary-General, attended the meeting. The meeting concluded that it is not appropriate to formulate this standard at the current stage.
4. On May 22nd, the Beijing Laundry Industry Association held its second president meeting of 2018 at the Riguang Company.
5. From May 28th to 29th, Pan Wei, Director of the China Laundry Committee, conducted an inspection of public textile washing enterprises in Guangdong and had in-depth communication with leaders of enterprises such as Dongguan Sanzheng Laundry, Zhuhai Dongjun Mingshi Laundry, and Dongguan Zhengjie Laundry.
6. On May 30th, Guangzhou Tiantian Laundry's self-developed visualization system was officially launched and put into operation. Pan Wei, Director of the China Laundry Committee, attended the release ceremony and delivered a speech.
7. On May 30th, the National Standard Seminar on Clothing RFID Identification, led by the China Article Numbering Center, was held in Qingdao. The meeting mainly discussed the drafted "Clothing Product Coding and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Tag Specification." The Haier Yilian Ecological Alliance participated in the formulation.
8. On May 31st, the Zhejiang Laundry Industry Association held the first session of the fifth council meeting.
