Getting paint on clothes or body is often troublesome because paint is hard to clean. Here is how to cleverly clean paint.

Method/Steps
1. Cleaning solvent-based paint
Immediately wipe with a cloth or cotton ball dipped in gasoline, kerosene, or thinner, then wash with detergent solution. If stained with water-based paint (such as waterborne paint, latex paint) or household interior wall coatings, wash off promptly with water.
2. Paint or asphalt contamination
If the time is short and the stain has not solidified, rub with turpentine (or benzene, gasoline, etc.). For old stains (already solidified), soak first in a mixture of ether and turpentine (1:1), wait until the stain softens (about 10 minutes), then rub with gasoline or benzene, and finally rinse with clean water.
3. Asphalt on clothing
First scrape off the asphalt with a small knife, then soak briefly in carbon tetrachloride (available at pharmacies), or rub in hot water to remove.
4. Removing paint or asphalt stains
You can soak in 10-20% ammonia solution (or add half the amount of turpentine to ammonia) or soak in 2% borax solution, then wash after dissolving. Another method is to soak in benzene or toluene, dissolve, then wash.
5. Nylon fabric stained with paint
First apply lard and rub, then soak in detergent and rinse with clean water. Gasoline or other thinners can also be used for cleaning. Nail polish remover also works well and has a pleasant fragrance.
6. Using medicated oil to remove paint from clothes
Apply a small amount of medicated oil on the stain, rub several times with both hands, the paint will come off, then wash with clean water. The stain removal power of medicated oil is comparable to gasoline, but it is fragrant and does not have the unpleasant gasoline smell.
