Due to the different functions, usage environments, and usage rates of various household appliances, their lifespans vary accordingly. Besides design and craftsmanship factors, the actual usage environment also affects the lifespan of electrical products. For example, if a washing machine is exposed to moisture for a long time, it may malfunction or even "die prematurely." Even more concerning is the possibility of electric leakage, which can endanger personal safety.

Generally speaking, the specified lifespan of a washing machine is 8-10 years, but many people report that their washing machines start having various problems after only four or five years of use. Today, I will talk with you about how to extend the lifespan of your washing machine so it can serve us better.
First, when using the washing machine, place it on a stable surface. During washing, the clothes spin inside the machine, causing it to shake. If the washing machine is not placed steadily and shakes excessively over time, it will affect the machine's lifespan.
Second, place the washing machine in a location with dedicated drainage. If there is no proper drainage facility where the washing machine is placed, draining water will be inconvenient, and the room will become damp over time, which will affect the washing machine's lifespan.
Third, when using the washing machine, be careful not to let water drip onto the computer control part of the machine. Since the computer part contains electronic circuits, moisture can cause short circuits, damaging the washing machine and shortening its lifespan.
Fourth, because clothes frequently move inside the washing machine, many tiny particles from the clothes enter the machine's debris collection bag. We should regularly remove this bag and clean out the debris before continuing to use the machine.
Fifth, after using the washing machine, open its lid to allow ventilation and keep the interior dry. Otherwise, if the inside of the washing machine is not ventilated promptly and remains damp, mold can grow, which affects our health and shortens the washing machine's lifespan.
Finally, if we do not use the washing machine for a long time, it is best to prepare a washing machine cover at home. When the washing machine is not in use for an extended period, cover it to prevent dust from entering and affecting its lifespan.
