1. On October 27, the expanded office meeting of the Chairman of the Laundry Equipment Branch of the China Light Machinery Association was held, and Shen Keming was appointed as the Executive Secretary-General.
2. On November 4, the 30th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress voted to pass the new Standardization Law, which will come into effect on January 1, 2018.
3. On November 5, the world's largest laundry culture-themed museum—the Laundry World Culture Museum—officially opened. The museum is located in the Tiantian Laundry Industrial Park in Zengcheng, Guangzhou. Nearly a thousand people attended the opening ceremony, including leaders from the China Laundry Committee, Guangdong Standardization Association, Guangdong Consumer Association, Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology, Guangdong Province (City) Laundry and Dyeing Associations, laundry industry experts, entrepreneurs, media, students, and customer representatives.
4. On November 6, the 18th exhibition summary and the 19th exhibition preparation meeting of the China International Laundry Industry Exhibition Organizing Committee were held at Guangdong Xinzhilian Exhibition Company. Participants included Director Pan Wei of the China Laundry Committee and General Manager Han Xiuping of Xinzhilian.
5. On November 7, Director Pan Wei of the China Laundry Committee inspected Nanning Phil Clean Laundry Service Company, which mainly focuses on hotel and medical textile washing, and had in-depth communication with General Manager Pang Wang.
6. From November 7 to 9, the Gulf Textile Care Exhibition was held at the Dubai World Trade Center. This exhibition is part of the Middle East Clean Technology Week, with more than 30 exhibitors and dozens of professional organizations participating, mainly focusing on textile leasing, automation and loading equipment, dry cleaning, finishing equipment, and steam generators. The overseas promotion work for the "2018 China International Laundry Industry Exhibition" was also launched at this event!
