"Clothing, Food, Housing, and Transportation" starts with clothing, highlighting the importance of attire in the lives of ordinary people. The neatness of clothing is a crucial aspect of a person's appearance. In various sports events and large-scale activities, laundry companies have never appeared as sponsors; even the Beijing Olympics adopted a "service purchase" approach. On January 11 this year, Modern Logistics Group signed a contract with the Universiade to officially become the laundry supplier, providing full-process laundry and cleaning services, marking an innovative milestone in Universiade history.
Green Laundry, Building a Flagship
It is well known that the laundry industry is a low-entry barrier service sector, but entering is easy while growing large and strong is very difficult. Especially since this industry often falls into fierce low-price competition, many small companies resort to inferior methods such as stealing water, electricity, and cutting corners to survive. Chairman Chen Dexun of Modern Logistics strongly condemns this. In his view, such bad industry practices only ruin the sector; the fundamental way to grow large and strong is to seek breakthroughs through technological innovation, achieving energy saving and emission reduction to lower costs. Therefore, Chairman Chen Dexun was the first to introduce high-tech, technology, and environmental protection thinking into the traditional laundry industry, making it the development philosophy of Modern Logistics.
Since its establishment, Chen Dexun has devoted himself to researching laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and boilers. "Hard work pays off." After countless days and nights of relentless exploration and hard work, Chen Dexun achieved great success in technological innovation. He developed six patented technologies including the energy-saving washing machine "broad-spectrum variable frequency" automatic control system, water-saving washing machine, multi-variable dynamic balance intelligent automatic control system, and digital management mode. The application of these patents has made Modern Logistics' costs far lower than other similar companies nationwide, greatly enhancing its market competitiveness.
To rapidly grow Modern Logistics, the company continuously breaks new ground in energy saving and emission reduction, pioneering a series of green and environmentally friendly laundry models, becoming a core competitive advantage not found among peers. In water saving, it cooperates with Tsinghua University's Water Resources Research Institute to develop core technologies for laundry wastewater treatment and water recycling, enabling nearly zero discharge of laundry wastewater. In energy saving, it substitutes new energy sources such as solar and biomass energy, saving equipment electricity and boiler energy consumption in washing, drying, and ironing processes. In emission reduction, the company independently developed patented laundry formulas that greatly reduce laundry materials and water usage compared to traditional laundry.
Additionally, Modern Logistics introduced advanced foreign fully automatic intelligent giant dryers, meeting the needs of hotels and other enterprises for rapid drying of large quantities of uniforms and work clothes, improving drying quality and production efficiency, filling a domestic gap in this field, and representing a true green and environmentally friendly laundry technology revolution.
It is precisely thanks to these energy-saving and emission-reducing green laundry models and the modern, standardized, and systematic management system that Modern Logistics has successfully expanded the market on a large scale with high quality and low cost. Currently, Modern Logistics' footprint covers the entire country, with laundry bases established in 13 cities including Shenzhen, Yantai, Shenyang, and Shanghai. Each base is equipped with various specifications of imported advanced laundry equipment, handling laundry for over a million students and factory workers daily, becoming a flagship enterprise in China's laundry industry. It has been recognized as a "Five-Star Service Enterprise" in Shenzhen's industry, a "Famous Brand" and "Top Ten Brand" in China's laundry industry, received World Bank special funds for "energy saving and emission reduction," and attracted the attention of the top ten domestic venture capital companies, actively promoting the listing of Modern Logistics Group.
Green Universiade, Fully Committed
Regarding the partnership with the Universiade, Chen Dexun stated that the Shenzhen Universiade provided their company with a platform to showcase itself and pioneered this globally. During the Universiade, Modern Logistics' innovative energy-saving and emission-reducing laundry model will shine. He also revealed that based on an estimated total laundry volume of 200,000 kilograms during the Universiade, Modern Logistics will save 2,250 tons of water, 11,260 kWh of electricity, 56 tons of standard coal energy, reduce laundry materials by 3,700 kilograms equivalent of detergent, reduce wastewater by 1,780 tons, reduce exhaust gases (such as sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides) by 9 tons, and reduce dust and waste residue by 48 tons. This series of figures also reflects Modern Logistics' impressive strength.
To better serve the Universiade, Modern Logistics specially established a dedicated laundry service project team. It decided to allocate more than half of the operation workshops at the Guanlan base, which has the best and most equipment, as the main laundry workshop for the Universiade. Currently, based on past event experience and the characteristics of this event, Modern Logistics has determined the corresponding processes for clothing collection, washing, and delivery. In late April, they will communicate and study with the project department to formulate a specification document directory, and gradually improve the laundry process, laundry material formulas, quality requirements and inspection standards, training plans, rules and regulations, and emergency plans according to the directory. Equipment for the urgent laundry center in the village, such as washers, dryers, dry cleaning machines, ironing equipment, air compressors, special washing, and sewing repairs, are already in the procurement stage and are expected to be in place successively by June.
It is worth mentioning that traditional laundry requires face-to-face verification and billing, which is time-consuming and costly. Chen Dexun said that this Universiade will adopt a computer barcode coding method to accurately complete centralized clothing collection and delivery. This is an innovative revolution in laundry models! Currently, a dedicated laundry software expert has been hired to develop the Universiade laundry collection and delivery process and create proprietary software, with a trial version expected to be completed by mid-May for rehearsal use.

Love, Taking This Enterprise Further
While striving to grow strong in his career, Chen Dexun is also quite compassionate. Since 2005, he has extended help to college students from impoverished areas, having supported more than 2,000 disadvantaged students to date. He also established the Mingcheng Public Welfare Foundation and the Integrity Transmission Volunteer Project Management Committee. The Mingcheng Public Welfare Foundation was specially set up to express gratitude to Foxconn. The Integrity Transmission Volunteer Project Management Committee was originally named the Love Transmission Volunteer Project Management Committee. This "Love Transmission Project" aimed to support college students who could not afford tuition, but each sponsored student, upon graduation and when able to repay the sponsorship, must pass the funds on to the next student in need. This way, "limited wealth, infinite support" of love is passed down through generations. Later, because some sponsored individuals disappeared after graduation and did not fulfill the promise to continue the love transmission, the name was changed from "Love Transmission" to "Integrity Transmission."
Regarding the future development of the company, Director Liu Longguang told reporters that looking ahead, they will expand upstream and downstream along the industrial chain, deeply integrating with customers to form a large-scale logistics model. They plan to invite investment partners to join within 3 to 5 years and successfully establish 300 new modern logistics bases in first-tier cities, second-tier cities, and top 100 counties in China, becoming a giant in the Chinese laundry industry. At the same time, they aim to further enhance their reputation in the public eye and always maintain a leading position in the industry in energy saving and emission reduction. Modern logistics personnel, who are brave in innovation and practical work, will strive to be modern logistics professionals, climbing towards higher goals with greater passion and vigor. They aim to build a Chinese service brand and bring Chinese services to the world.
