On June 5th, the senior inspection team of the China Laundry Committee visited the Las Vegas Convention Center to attend The Clean Show 2017. The Clean Show is the most influential laundry and dyeing industry exhibition in North America. 2017 marked a milestone year for the exhibition, celebrating its 40th anniversary.
The exhibition featured diverse product demonstrations, attracting a global audience from the laundry and related industries. Exhibitors included apparel, linens, washing equipment, chemicals and auxiliaries, market management and consulting, electronic systems, environmental protection and recycling design services, transportation equipment, and many related sectors. The exhibition covered nearly 20,000 square meters with a total of 466 exhibitors. Among them, the China Laundry Committee's vice-chairman units Haishi, Weishi, and Hangxing participated.

Through the visit, we felt that washing machinery has developed compactly arranged products, with automated processing machines addressing specific business segments to ensure a smoother and more efficient overall production process. IoT technology played an important role throughout the production chain; RFID took on more diverse forms, and barcode technology was fully applied. The precision of post-processing equipment continuously improved, evolving from simple linen sorting to becoming a crucial information statistics terminal in the entire processing chain. Compact workstation setups further enhanced work efficiency. Major brands strengthened their business advantages by attracting new users through value-added services and enhancing interaction and loyalty with existing users.
More and more environmental protection and steam treatment systems appeared at the exhibition. Chemical formulations were designed with greater emphasis on efficiency and environmental protection. The global laundry and dyeing industry’s focus on energy saving has sparked a wave of enthusiasm, aiming to achieve stable product quality control and increased profitability through detailed control at every stage. Various related auxiliaries are developing towards extreme refinement and personalization to meet the brand needs of different service enterprises.
During the visit, we also sensed the gradual recovery of the North American laundry and dyeing industry. The exhibition featured booths from investment institutions, with increasing capital optimistic about the development of the North American laundry market and supporting its industrial upgrading. Additionally, the appearance of some conceptual products caught visitors’ attention.

Besides visiting Chinese exhibiting companies, Director Pan Wei of the China Laundry Committee also visited some long-term cooperative foreign enterprises and emerging brands, presenting materials on the Chinese laundry industry. Many companies expressed strong interest and optimism about the development of the Chinese laundry market, stating they would actively participate in various activities of the Chinese laundry industry and strengthen daily communication. During conversations, Director Pan emphasized the "3rd China International Laundry Festival" to be held in Beijing in September 2017, especially the 18th China International Laundry Industry Exhibition from September 26-28, which is the most recent global laundry industry exhibition after The Clean Show in the US and is highly anticipated.
See you in Beijing from September 25-28, 2017!
