The 3rd China International Laundry Festival is scheduled to be grandly held in Beijing from September 24 to 28, 2017. In this festival, the China Commercial Laundry Committee will cooperate with various local laundry industry associations, key enterprises, and some international industry organizations to jointly organize the event, which will become the largest international laundry industry event in 2017. Currently, related preparations have already started.
The "China International Laundry Festival" was founded in 2009 and is held every four years. It integrates multiple high-end exchange activities in the laundry industry and has received high attention and support from industry-related personnel and national departments. This event has become a grand industry event created by China's laundry industry for laundry professionals worldwide.
1. Review of Previous Sessions
The 1st China International Laundry Festival 
In 2009, the "1st China International Laundry Festival" was held in Beijing, covering three major branded events: the "2009 10th China International Laundry Industry Exhibition," the "2009 International Laundry Industry Conference," and the "6th National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition." 
The "2009 10th China International Laundry Industry Exhibition" featured participation from more than 150 well-known brands from 12 countries and regions domestically and internationally, with an exhibition area exceeding 6,000 square meters, nearly 200 booths, and over 3,000 professional visitors. 
The "2009 International Laundry Industry Conference" gathered over 100 laundry industry leaders and experts worldwide, including more than 120 guests from the US, Canada, Germany, Romania, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Several domestic and international expert representatives delivered wonderful speeches, forming a consensus on cooperation and development between Chinese and foreign laundry industries, and signed the conference's guiding document, the "Beijing Declaration."
The 2nd China International Laundry Festival
The "2nd China International Laundry Festival" was held in Beijing from August 6 to 10, 2013, encompassing a series of industry activities such as the "International Laundry Industry Summit Forum," "China International Laundry Industry Exhibition," "National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition," "National Laundry Industry Work Conference," and "Laundry Industry Trade Cooperation Negotiation Activities." Participants included 15,000 laundry industry friends from 16 countries and regions including China, the US, Japan, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Australia, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. 
Among them, the "3rd International Laundry Industry Summit Forum" gathered more than 300 entrepreneurs and experts from the global laundry industry. The forum's theme was "Gathering the latest concepts and technologies of the global laundry industry to make our homeland's sky bluer, water cleaner, and clothes cleaner." 
The "8th National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition" finals attracted 107 contestants from more than 20 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions including Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Chongqing, Sichuan, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Jilin, Shaanxi, Hebei, Henan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Hunan, Shandong, Ningxia, Hubei, and Gansu. 
2. Introduction to the Theme Activities of the 3rd China International Laundry Festival
The 18th China International Laundry Industry Exhibition
The "China International Laundry Industry Exhibition" was founded in 2000 and is held alternately in Beijing and Shanghai every year. It is the most authoritative laundry industry exhibition in China.
From September 26 to 28, 2017, the "18th China International Laundry Industry Exhibition" will be held at the Old Hall of the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, with an expected exhibition area of 15,000 square meters. Concurrently, a series of industry display activities involving leather care, public textile washing, and laundry chain franchising will also be held. 
China Skills Competition — The 10th National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition
The "National Laundry Industry Vocational Skills Competition" is held every two years and is a national-level vocational competition organized by the Laundry Committee. It is part of the 2017 China Skills Competition and is the most authoritative national vocational skills competition in China's laundry industry. Winners of the competition will receive the highest honor for skilled talents in China, the title of "National Technical Expert," and the honorary title of "National Laundry Industry Technical Expert."
Competition items include: laundry knowledge, stain removal, leather clothing maintenance, leather care, garment ironing, and clothing mending.
The 4th World Laundry Industry Summit Forum
The World Laundry Industry Summit Forum (formerly known as the "China International Laundry Industry Summit Forum") was founded in 2005 by the Laundry Committee. Industry associations, enterprises, and experts from countries and regions including Italy, Canada, Japan, the US, Romania, South Korea, the Netherlands, Belgium, Russia, Spain, France, Germany, as well as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau have participated in the forum activities. The World Laundry Industry Summit Forum will become an international industry conference jointly created by the Laundry Committee and laundry industry organizations from various countries.
The "4th World Laundry Industry Summit Forum" will bring together experts, association representatives, and senior executives from the global laundry industry to present a fresh professional experience by combining theoretical innovation with practical experience, opening new ideas for industry colleagues. 
Technical Promotion and Exchange Negotiation Activities of Chinese and Foreign Laundry Industries
Technical promotion and exchange negotiation activities of Chinese and foreign laundry industries will run throughout the Laundry Festival. During the entire festival from September 24 to 28, 2017, relevant enterprises and groups will carry out various forms of exchange and negotiation activities based on the concept of win-win cooperation. The Laundry Festival is the best platform for you to cooperate and negotiate with famous domestic and foreign laundry industry figures, promote brands, promote technology, and place orders and procurements.
