Dear Director Wang Shuyuan, Secretary-General Pan Wei, industry veterans, and all the executives:
First of all, warm congratulations on the successful convening of the 2nd Congress of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee!
Many thanks for the efforts and contributions made by the Laundry and Dyeing Industry Professional Committee over the years for the development and progress of the industry. As a normative organization in the laundry and dyeing industry, the committee has truly played a key role in leading, coordinating, and promoting. It has clear goals, a complete and dedicated team, and works earnestly for the industry. Having benefited so much and witnessed the growth and changes of the industry and enterprises over the years, I, as a member of this industry, feel this especially deeply, mainly in the following aspects:
1. The Laundry and Dyeing Committee has made great contributions to the vigorous development of the entire industry.
I believe everyone understands, including the overall industry surveys we have all participated in, organizing technical exchanges among industry enterprises, and organizing and participating in exchange meetings among associations in various regions. These usually trivial and detailed tasks have laid a solid foundation for the stable development of China's laundry and dyeing industry.
On this basis, the successive International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Conferences, namely the Summit Forums, China International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibitions, and other major events that fully lead, promote, and reflect the vigorous development momentum of China's laundry and dyeing industry, have an immeasurable impact.
2. Secondly, guiding the laundry and dyeing industry towards normative and healthy development.
Those of us who have been working in the laundry and dyeing industry for so many years know well that we all started from scratch and know how disorderly the industry used to be. Few people considered it a real industry before, and many looked down on the practitioners in this field. But today, our workforce has become a strong force in solving employment issues. Recruitment, training, and onboarding now have standards to follow. We can also freely discuss and envision the future of the industry and enterprises here in this hall. All these are closely related to the increasing standardization of the industry. The Laundry and Dyeing Committee has organized the revision of many industry standards, such as the National Occupational Standard for Laundry Workers, the Occupational Norms for Salespersons, and currently the Leather Care Worker Standard, among others. The increasingly mature "China Laundry" journal is also safeguarding the normative and healthy development of our laundry and dyeing industry.
3. Strengthening the connection between the industry and upstream and downstream sectors, government, and media.
Most practitioners or operators in the laundry and dyeing industry come from technical backgrounds or started from technical work. Without such an organization to coordinate relationships with upstream and downstream sectors, government, and even the media, many obstacles to the development of industry enterprises would inevitably arise, and some misunderstandings could even be fatal. The Laundry and Dyeing Committee maintains a fair and just attitude towards various phenomena in the industry and enterprises, organizes exchanges between enterprises and industrial and commercial government departments, actively cooperates with environmental protection surveys and provides professional advice, and conducts domestic and international industry inspections and exchanges. These efforts have enabled China's laundry and dyeing industry to smoothly advance on the path of learning from others, understanding itself, protecting itself, and developing together.
4. Using professional strength to promote the overall improvement of the quality of industry practitioners.
From the perspective of my own enterprise, the work done by the Laundry and Dyeing Committee in improving talent quality has been a great help to us. The National Laundry and Dyeing Vocational Skills Competition not only attracts popularity but also brings a fighting spirit to those employees who work hard on the front lines every day! Because what they care about is not the small bonuses given but the recognition they receive. The skills competition provides them with such a stage, which we operators cannot offer. Therefore, we really need to thank the Laundry and Dyeing Committee for its usual attention to talent cultivation, handling various consultations, and technical exchanges, which have accumulated work that gives the competition its broader and more practical value and significance. It is not just about improving skills but about using professional strength to promote the overall improvement of the quality of industry personnel.
Perhaps words cannot fully express it, but from the perspective of the enterprise itself, Rongchang is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Indeed, thanks to the work of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, we feel very gratified about the industry's development. I have always believed that we do not reject competitors. As long as we compete under consistent values and a healthy and positive atmosphere, it will benefit all of us and the entire industry. I believe that under the leadership of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, we will do our utmost for the normative and sustainable development of the industry!
