1. On September 28, the Hunan Province Laundry Industry Association released the shortlist of candidates for "Integrity Management Model Enterprises."
2. On October 6, the Shandong Province Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association established the Medical Textile Laundry and Disinfection Professional Committee and the Laundry and Disinfection Qualification Appraisal Committee. They also discussed and formulated the Shandong Province Medical Textile Laundry and Disinfection Standards.
3. From October 5 to 7, the World Textile Services Conference, organized by the textile service associations of the United States, Europe, and Belgium, was held in Belgium.
4. The Tianjin Municipal Local Standard "Laundry and Dyeing Industry Opening Standards" will be implemented on November 1, 2016.
5. According to reports, the Environmental Protection Bureau of New Taipei City, Taiwan, announced it will impose a maximum fine of 6 million New Taiwan Dollars on a heavily polluting laundry factory within its jurisdiction.
