At 7:49 on April 14, 2010, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck Yushu County, Qinghai Province. As of 17:00 on the 22nd, the earthquake had caused 2,187 deaths, 80 missing persons, and more than 12,135 injuries. People of all ethnic groups across the country deeply mourn the compatriots who died in the Qinghai Yushu earthquake. After the "5.12" Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan two years ago, employees and franchisees of Rongchang Company generously donated and actively contributed funds through the Red Cross Foundation to the people in the Sichuan earthquake disaster area, bringing courage and strength to rebuild homes from the ruins to the compatriots affected by the disaster! Their love will always be remembered in everyone's heart.
Today, we also hope that the fate of the people in the Yushu earthquake disaster area will change because of a little love from you and me! On April 23, the headquarters of Rongchang Company and all employees took active action again, just like their concern for the "5.12" earthquake disaster, reaching out to help the disaster area people and enthusiastically donating. Mr. Zhang Rongyao, Chairman of Rongchang Company, took the lead in donating 10,000 RMB, and other staff donated 500, 200, 100... respectively. Shangdi Rongchang Store, Century Oriental City Ilsa Store, etc., also voluntarily entrusted the headquarters to donate 500 RMB each. Ms. Tang Chuanyan, a warm-hearted customer of Rongchang, also entrusted a donation of 330 RMB. The enthusiasm for loving donations is increasing... One after another, employees and various stores extended their hands of love. Every drop of love from Rongchang Company merges into the ocean of love. All the donations collected that day will be delivered to the people in the disaster area by the relevant departments of the company through related organizations, promoting nationwide disaster relief and resistance, helping the disaster area to resume production and rebuild homes.
