Letter for Classification Situation Survey
The construction of the occupational classification system is an important foundational task in national human resource management. According to the Labor Law of the People's Republic of China, in 1999, the former Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, and the National Bureau of Statistics, together with relevant departments, compiled and issued the "Occupational Classification Dictionary of the People's Republic of China" (hereinafter referred to as the "Dictionary"), which scientifically and normatively classified and categorized social occupations in China for the first time. With the continuous development of the economy and society, advances in science and technology, and ongoing adjustments in industrial structure, the "Dictionary" can no longer fully reflect the development and changes of social occupations or meet the new requirements of human resource management. To accurately grasp the current basic situation of occupational classification in China and to prepare technically for revising the "Dictionary," the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has decided to conduct a comprehensive survey on the basic situation of related occupations (job types) and positions (posts) in typical enterprises and institutions in various industries.
According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security's "Letter on Surveying the Basic Situation of Related Occupations (Job Types) and Positions (Posts) in Typical Enterprises and Institutions in Various Industries" (Human Resources Office Letter [2010] No. 86) and the China General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) notice (CGCC Human Resources [2010] No. 5), the China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee has been tasked to select 5-7 units in the laundry and dyeing industry to conduct the occupational classification survey.
The setting and definition of occupational (job types) in the laundry and dyeing industry will directly affect the social occupational positioning of practitioners in the laundry and dyeing industry. This is a major issue related to the development of China's laundry and dyeing industry and requires our high attention.
After research, your unit is requested, as one of the participating enterprises, to assist our association in conducting the occupational (job type) classification survey in the laundry and dyeing industry. Please promptly fill out the survey form carefully and send it by express mail with the official seal to the China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee before March 14, 2010. At the same time, please send the electronic document to the email: cla@chinalaundry.cn. We have uploaded the "Occupational (Job Type), Position (Post), and Personnel Situation Questionnaire" to China Laundry Network. Participating units are requested to download it themselves (click to download the survey form).
