The "2016 China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards Ceremony" grandly opened at 14:00 on July 11th at the Shanghai Jinmao Grand Hyatt Hotel. Nearly five hundred laundry and dyeing professionals witnessed the grand announcement of 172 awards across eight categories: "Famous Brands in China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Contribution Award for Standard Work in China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Person of the Year in China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Emerging Award in China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "National Meritorious Figures in Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Outstanding Contributors in National Laundry and Dyeing Industry," "Excellent Managers in National Laundry and Dyeing Industry," and "Innovators in National Laundry and Dyeing Industry." 
At 14:00 on the day, the red carpet ceremony officially began, with over one hundred award-winning guests entering the venue in heroic style. 
As the ceremony was about to start, Ms. Zhang Lijun, Vice President of the China General Chamber of Commerce, took the stage to announce adjustments to the main leadership members of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, officially appointing Mr. Pan Wei as the Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce. 
At that time, the 2016 China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Awards Ceremony officially kicked off with a specially produced countdown promotional video by the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, with the venue packed to capacity.

After the ceremony began, Mr. Jiang Ming, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce, and Ms. Liu Rongming, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Shanghai Commercial Federation, delivered speeches respectively, wishing the laundry and dyeing industry event a successful holding. 
The awards phase was star-studded, with winners divided into 16 groups taking the stage. Mr. Jiang Ming, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce; Ms. Zhang Lijun, Vice President; Ms. Liu Rongming, Vice President of the Shanghai Commercial Federation; Ms. Wang Shuyuan and Mr. Pan Wei, Directors of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Dai Jie, President of the Shanghai Laundry and Dyeing Industry Association; and Mr. Wang Xueren, Director of the Expert Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Industry, presented trophies and medals to the winners. The ceremony also invited industry celebrities Wen Lisheng, Zhao Yanhong, Guo Jidong, Dai Jie, Chen Hong, Ping Ju, Bao Guanghua, Lv Liyi, Qi Datong, and Zhu Lijun as prize draw guests, who shared their unique insights on each award and conducted the draws in innovative ways. The Laundry and Dyeing Committee carefully produced promotional videos of the winners, which were proudly released on-site along with the list of winning individuals and companies. 
The awards ceremony reached its climax on-site, with the final segment being the awarding of sashes to the National Meritorious Figures in the Laundry and Dyeing Industry. Afterwards, all secretariat staff of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee took the stage with flowers, bowed, and took group photos. The Meritorious Figures award, as a lifetime achievement award in the laundry and dyeing industry, expressed the gratitude and respect of laundry and dyeing professionals towards the older generation of practitioners. The awards ceremony concluded amid flowers and applause. 
Around 19:00 in the evening, the "Laundry and Dyeing Family" and the "17th China International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibition Welcome Banquet" opened. 
Mr. Pan Wei, Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce, and Ms. Han Xiuping, General Manager of Guangdong Xinzhilian Exhibition Services Co., Ltd., jointly took the stage to propose a toast, warming up and officially kicking off the China International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibition, which was to grandly open the next day, welcoming domestic and foreign guests to visit and negotiate.
