On January 26, 2016, the Hebei Province Outstanding Contribution Technician Award Ceremony, jointly organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and China Central Television, and hosted by the Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, was held in Hebei. Yan Congxiao, an expert in the Chinese laundry and dyeing industry and president of the Baoding Laundry Association, stood out among numerous candidates from various industries in Hebei Province to receive this honor. She was the only awardee representing the laundry and dyeing industry among the hundred winners to go on stage to receive the award. After receiving the award, she said: "I just want the laundry and dyeing industry to have a place. It was very difficult to finally win, and I am very moved."
