On May 21, an emergency meeting was immediately convened, and the only three washing machines in the warehouse were dispatched, equipped with steam generators and disinfection cabinets. Two technicians were assigned to support the Blanchi laundry shop at No. 156 Beijie, Tianpeng Town, Pengzhou City, to provide free laundry and disinfection services for the disaster-affected people, PLA officers and soldiers, public security, armed police, firefighters, and volunteers. Besides washing hundreds of clothes daily, they also rode bicycles to the disaster relief sites more than ten miles away to collect clothes, wash them, and deliver them back... The PLA officers and soldiers, international rescue teams, firefighters, public security, armed police soldiers, and local disaster victims highly praised Blanchi's actions. They unanimously praised Blanchi for doing a good deed for the disaster victims. All Blanchi employees expressed: If the disaster area people need it, we must act and do our best to help rebuild their homes. Sichuan TV, Chengdu Evening News, and Chengdu TV all reported on this. The owner of Blanchi Pengzhou store, Yin Sheng, said: Welcome more people to send clothes for washing.
