The inaugural "China International Laundry and Dyeing Festival" takes shape and is about to emerge
To promote the healthy and orderly development of China's laundry and dyeing industry towards internationalization and branding, strengthen foreign exchanges, gradually align with international peers, create an industry exhibition brand, improve the overall industry level, expand domestic demand, and stimulate social laundry consumption and laundry equipment market, the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee proposed to hold a series of events in September this year including the "2009 10th China International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Exhibition", "2009 International Laundry and Dyeing Industry Conference", and the "6th National Laundry and Dyeing Industry Vocational Skills Competition". The overall purpose of these events is to introduce and showcase the development achievements of China's laundry and dyeing industry in technology, equipment, and operations to domestic and foreign peers through exhibitions; to exchange and learn advanced international experiences and discuss major issues of common concern in management, operations, and services through the industry conference, aiming to reach consensus and form a basic framework for global strategic cooperation in the laundry and dyeing industry, effectively promoting the scientific development of the international laundry and dyeing community; and to promote the skill levels of industry practitioners through competitions to better serve consumers.
Upon the proposal of the Laundry and Dyeing Committee, to enhance the social impact of the "three major events" and with the consent of relevant departments, the China General Chamber of Commerce decided to unify the operation of the above three major events and related activities, founding the "China International Laundry and Dyeing Festival"! The director of the organizing committee of the "First China International Laundry and Dyeing Festival" is Comrade He Jihai, President of the China General Chamber of Commerce; the deputy directors are full-time Vice President Comrade An Huimin and Executive Deputy Secretary-General Comrade Ying Zhizeng; the executive deputy director of the organizing committee is Comrade Wang Shuyuan, Deputy Secretary-General of the China General Chamber of Commerce and Director of the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee. A special notice titled "Regarding the unified naming of the three major brand events of the China General Chamber of Commerce Laundry and Dyeing Committee in 2009 as the 'First China International Laundry and Dyeing Festival'" (CGCC Laundry Committee [2009] No. 2) was issued. The three major events throughout the Laundry and Dyeing Festival will grandly launch outstanding brands of China's laundry and dyeing industry and laundry equipment manufacturing industry, technical models of China's laundry and dyeing industry, and outstanding entrepreneurs of China's laundry and dyeing industry. It is a comprehensive image display of China's laundry and dyeing industry and a generous gift to the 60th anniversary of the motherland!
The inaugural China International Laundry and Dyeing Festival, themed "Exchange, Cooperation, Win-Win, Development", gathers nearly 70 giants and experts from the laundry and dyeing industry across more than twenty countries and regions worldwide, creating an unprecedented grand event. It is a rare opportunity to understand the latest international technologies and products, grasp industry development trends, and keep up with world trends. The organizing committee welcomes insightful figures from the domestic and international laundry and dyeing industry to seize the opportunity, participate, exchange business ideas, share the grand feast, and promote the healthy development of China's laundry and dyeing industry.
