On the morning of September 25, the first member meeting and re-election conference of the sixth session of the Beijing Laundry Industry Association was successfully held in the conference room of Baochen Hotel, Beijing.
The meeting was chaired by the current president Wang Xueren. Hou Qingquan, a research officer at the Social Organization Management Office of the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau, Kang Kai, deputy director of the Circulation Order Division of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, Wang Xiyan from the Service Transaction Division of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, and other supervising leaders attended and supervised the meeting. A total of 77 members of the Beijing Laundry Industry Association participated, exceeding two-thirds of the total membership, meeting the requirements for re-election.
The meeting first listened to and approved the council work report read by President Wang Xueren, the financial report read by the association's financial officer Liu Huiqin, and the supervisory board work report read by Jia Runze on behalf of the supervisor Qi Datong. Then, Secretary-General Gao Yunli read the revised draft of the Beijing Laundry Industry Association's charter, which was unanimously approved.
Afterwards, 38 directors and 5 supervisors of the sixth session of the Beijing Laundry Industry Association were elected by secret ballot in sequence.
The meeting passed the association membership fee collection and management measures by a show of hands.
The newly elected 38 directors participated in the election of the new president, executive vice presidents, vice presidents, secretary-general, deputy secretary-generals, and executive directors.
Pan Fuzeng, general manager of the laundry factory of Baochen Hotel under Beijing Shoukai Group, was elected president of the sixth session of the Beijing Laundry Industry Association; Gao Yunli was elected secretary-general; Jia Runze was elected chairman of the supervisory board. The meeting also elected 5 executive vice presidents: Wang Ping (Beijing Top), Zhu Lijun (Beijing Funait), Zhou Jie (Beijing Rongchang), Zu Xiguang (Beijing Sanyo), Guo Jidong (Beijing Riguang); 5 vice presidents: Tian Shengli (Beijing Tongrentongfu), Zhang Shulin (Jiangsu Haishi Beijing Office), Shi Yushan (Beijing Innovation), Xin Yubo (Beijing Hanhong), Xu Gendi (Beijing Yousa); and 6 deputy secretary-generals: Gao Wenyue (Beijing Baojiete), Yu Qiang (Beijing Funait), Lu Ying (Peking University Medical Textile), Shang Yunfeng (Beijing Baifulai), Dai Heping (Oriental Taiyue), Cheng Yana (Beijing Rongchang).
After the voting results were announced, the newly elected president Pan Fuzeng gave a brief speech. He said that having entered the laundry industry in 1981, with over 30 years of experience, his election as association president is both an affirmation of his work and a heavy responsibility. He assured members to rest assured and believed that the new leadership team would continue to improve and innovate on the solid foundation laid before, serve the broad membership well, and strive to enhance the level and image of Beijing's laundry industry.
Subsequently, Hou Qingquan, a research officer at the Social Organization Management Office of the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau, delivered a concluding speech. He put forward three expectations for the new association: first, to strive to improve the service level of the laundry industry; second, to improve various systems and fully exercise democratic rights; third, for members to actively cooperate with the newly appointed president to do a good job in association work, so that the association truly serves society, the industry, and its members, and establishes an efficient communication bridge between the government and enterprises.
