Notice on the Reexamination of Experts in China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry
Dear Experts in China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry:
According to the "Working Rules of the Expert Committee of China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry under the China General Chamber of Commerce" (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules"), our association plans to conduct the annual reexamination of experts belonging to the Expert Committee of China's Laundry and Dyeing Industry from March to June 2009. This reexamination is the first since the implementation of the "Rules". Upon receiving this notice, all experts are expected to attach great importance and cooperate as required to complete the reexamination and recommendation work.
1. Time Requirements for Reexamination
"China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Experts" are appointed for a term of 4 years, with a reexamination every two years. The reexamination work is conducted from January to June each year. Experts who fail to participate in the reexamination without valid reasons will be deemed to have voluntarily given up their qualification as "China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Experts." Experts who pass the reexamination will be publicly announced in the media.
2. Responsibilities for Reexamination
Upon receiving the notice, each laundry and dyeing industry expert should conduct a self-inspection of their responsibilities according to the "Rules":
Able to carry out industry management and technical consulting services, providing technical support to the national laundry and dyeing industry; conduct professional training, compile teaching materials, write industry professional technical books and materials; conduct industry research, participate in the formulation of industry development plans and industry standards; undertake industry awards work, such as evaluating the top ten laundry and dyeing enterprises nationwide, recommending famous and excellent products, selecting outstanding managers, and evaluating industry enterprise grades; serve as judges for industry skills competitions as needed; write technical articles for the "China Laundry" journal and answer technical questions raised by online users of "China Laundry"; carry out technical problem-solving, identify laundry accidents and laundry quality, and solve difficult problems; undertake special tasks entrusted by the laundry and dyeing professional committee and local associations; actively cooperate with the work of the laundry and dyeing professional committee and complete assigned tasks; experts with special laundry and dyeing skills have the obligation to teach these special skills; carry out online, telephone, or written Q&A work according to the arrangements of the expert committee.
3. Timely Payment of Expert Management Fees
According to the "Rules", China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Experts should pay an expert management fee of 160 yuan annually, which is paid together with the reexamination every two years. The total expert management fee payable this period is 320 yuan.
4. Signing and Stamping of the "China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Expert Work Certificate"
Each expert should mail their held "China Laundry and Dyeing Industry Expert Work Certificate" to the Laundry and Dyeing Professional Committee of the China General Chamber of Commerce within the required reexamination period. After our association reviews and stamps the reexamination seal, it will be sent back.
