Recently, at the 2019 National Laundry Committee Members' Meeting, the "Compilation of Laundry Industry Standards" (referred to as "Compilation"), led by the National Laundry Standardization Technical Committee and organized by the National Laundry Committee, was released. This is a revision based on the 2016 edition of the "Compilation" and is currently the most comprehensive, accurate, and authoritative collection of standards and related laws and regulations in the laundry industry.
The revised Compilation is divided into the "Laundry Industry Volume" and the "Related Standards Volume." It includes a total of 141 items of commonly used laundry service current national standards, industry standards, local standards, group standards approved and issued by the national standardization administrative department and industry standard administrative department as of the end of May 2019, as well as standards for washing machinery, washing chemicals and auxiliaries, textiles and apparel, local laundry service dispute resolution methods, and related industry laws and regulations.
The new edition of the "Compilation" not only supplements and improves the current national and industry standards for the laundry industry but also incorporates group standards issued by the association in recent years. The content covers service specifications, technical requirements, enterprise management, clean production, leather care, and grading evaluation, among many other aspects. It is more systematic and comprehensive, serving as an effective supplement to national and industry standards. It is suitable for laundry industry managers, technicians, research and development, and testing institutions as a reference book.
During the preparation of the new edition of the "Compilation," strong support was received from laundry industry associations in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangdong Province, Shandong Province, Sichuan Province, Jiangsu Province, Shaanxi Province, Hunan Province, Jiangxi Province, Fujian Province, Zhejiang Province, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Dalian City, Hangzhou City, Nanjing City, Taiyuan City, as well as from Gaste (Beijing) Testing Co., Ltd., China Light Industry Clean Production Center, and some industry experts.
